    Penn State guard Izaiah Brockington re-entered the NCAA transfer portal Thursday morning, sources told 247Sports. As a junior during the Nittany Lions' 2020-21 season, Brockington averaged 12.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 29.7 minutes over 25 games (24 starts). The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder initially made a portal entry March 16. He ended up withdrawing his name after a "good talk" with Micah Shrewsberry, the new PSU head coach.

    Bailey Hertenstein of Indiana Track & Field was tabbed for Women's Track Athlete of the Week. The Big Ten Conference announced their weekly awards for track & field on Wednesday morning. Winning her first career weekly honor for outdoor track & field, Bailey Hertenstein of Indiana Track & Field was tabbed for Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Hertenstein competed in the 5000m at the Big Ten Indiana Invite No. 3 this past Friday night where she won the event and clocked a time of 15:38.01. Her time was a program and facility record along with a personal best. She now has the No. 4 time in the NCAA East region for the 5000m. Hertenstein also leads the Big Ten in the event. The Indiana squad will return to action this weekend at the Fighting Illini Big Ten Relays. Action is slated to start on Friday, April 23 and wrap up on Saturday, April 24.
