  3. Top 50 SG A. J. Storr '22 has decommitted from Illinois.
  4. From the 2021 Wisconsin Spring Showdown - While Trimble always plays at a high level, he was simply unstoppable during the championship game and took it over to lead Phenom to the title with a 27-point outburst. The point guard just has great quickness and dynamic moves while attacking to always be beating his man and getting to the basket. The explosive athlete can finish big at the rim but is also a crafty finisher around the paint. With his big performance, he earned himself a couple of Big 10 offers, coming from Michigan and Penn State.
  5. Helmer Wins Elite 90™ Award for NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship Indiana men's soccer redshirt freshman midfielder Quinten Helmer was named the recipient of the Elite 90 award for the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Helmer, an econ consulting major, currently carries a GPA of 3.971. He was presented the award following Thursday morning's training session in Cary, N.C. The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships. Helmer is the first Hoosier to earn the prestigious honor since Jack Griffith in 2017. Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above who have participated in their sport for at least two years with their school. All ties are broken by the number of credits completed.
  6. Bad high school basketball habit. I remember Yogi's freshman year and the number of times he tried that jump pass cutting across the baseline. He broke the habit and I believe Galloway can also. As to Jerome, it's pretty obvious to me that CMW made this decision for Jerome in the manner it was announced. No tweet from Jerome announcing his decision to enter the portal and thanking IU, etc., etc., etc. Just CMW stating he's outta here.
  7. Rothstein - Michigan State transfer Foster Loyer has committed to Davidson, per his Twitter page.
  8. 4-star SF Kaleb Glenn with IU interest per Stockrisers. Attends Louisville Male HS in Louisville, KY. Plays AAU for Bradley Beal on the EYBL circuit. https://stockrisers.com/s/348/top-50-sophomore-kaleb-glenn-talks-visit-plans-updates-recruitment Which schools would you say are heavily involved despite it being early? “Louisville, West Virginia, and Indiana, I hear from them the most out of the rest of the schools.” 247 Rivals Hudl
  9. Jake Weingarten - Top-50 junior Rodney Rice has tentative visit plans to UConn, Maryland, Georgetown, Louisville, and Alabama, he told @Stockrisers. He’s yet to determine which schools will get an official visit from him, but, plans on visiting these programs. Will likely add schools during AAU.
  10. BREAKING NEWS. UGA announces new corporate sponsor for men's basketball.
  11. Isaac Green joins staff as a Graduate Assistant. https://www.vavel.com/en-us/ncaa/2021/05/11/college-basketball/1070912-green-joins-coach-woodsons-staff-at-indiana.html
  12. Well it is a lot of trouble and pretty damn impertinent of you to even ask! Since I started keep track of the AAU stats several years ago, the UAA has always been the bottom of the totem pole. Right now, I'm only aware of 3 with some degree of IU interest and none of the 3 have an offer. Xavier Booker, Jalen Hooks and Jaden Schutt. There are likely others but their names just haven't surfaced. Historically, the EYBL (Nike) is by far the top dog on the AAU shoe circuit with IU targets. The 3SSB (Adidas) a distant second and then UAA

  17. Alex Karamanos @TheCircuitAlex 5-star Chris Livingston is one of the premier prospects from the 2022 class. At the #KCClassic he averaged 22.3 PPG. Standing at 6’6, he has all the tools. Smooth jumper, great finishing skills, and a ton of athleticism.

  19. Interesting to see what the IHSAA will decide to do in Indiana. The National Federation of State High School Associations will permit implementation of a 35-second shot clock leaving the decision to implement or not to each state association. https://www.nfhs.org/articles/shot-clock-allowed-by-state-adoption-for-high-school-basketball-in-2022-23/?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=NFHS_Org&fbclid=IwAR3v_D6Cpli1yyuw6yg2-KZNRuHT9GuY9pYVrbB74ZwDeKuoebzXTVeQEM4

  24. Knight: Can't argue with Stu's pick of Buckner but Isiah didn't become referred to as the baby faced assassin for nothing. Davis: Whole era was underwhelming. Sampson: I boycotted this era in its entirety. Crean: Troy hands down but had Crean not been fired, Devonte would have ended up a close second. Miller: Although he only stayed 2 years, I'll go with Damezi because he came with lots of hype but never produced results. And I'd also include Jerome Hunter at this point in time for the same reason the results haven't nearly matched the hype.
