  1. In Alex Bozich's list of expected attendees at Hoosier Hysteria he mentioned Caleb Middleton '24 from New Hampton Prep in New Hampton, NH. Haven't heard his name often mentioned in connection with IU interest so here's some refresher into on him. Hudl June '21 -- 6'11 forward New Hampton School (NH) - Ranked as one of the most sought after prospects in the country by Playrz First Group. Middleton is entering his second year at New Hampton as a rising sophomore. He possesses guard like skills because he recently grew several inches over the last two years. He can really use his length on the defensive side of the ball, blocking several shots and being able to alter many more. His offensive game is progressing as well, recently adding a much more consistent 3 point shot and has the ability to put the ball on the deck. Holds multiple D1 offers as a freshman, including DePaul. Plays AAU with BABC. https://newenglandrecruitingreport.com/recruits/caleb-middleton-2024 Oct. '20 -- https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/2024-prospect-introduction-caleb-middleton August '20 -- Caleb Middleton, who will be joining New Hampton’s class of 2024 next year, was the first player to catch our eye. He has a terrific early combination of size, skill, and fluidity. He runs and moves well for someone his age who is already every bit of 6-foot-9. The versatility in his skill set is very intriguing as well. He can step out and make threes, put the ball on the floor, and score inside with baby hooks and good footwork. In short, he’s bound to be one of the top early prospects in next year’s freshman class. 2021 Peach Jam -- Caleb Middleton '24 ( C ) - BABC 15U Date W/L Pts. FGM FGA FTM FTA 3PM 3PA Reb Assts. Kaleb Banks, Indiana’s other commitment in the 2022 class, will be at the Wooten top 150 camp in Mansfield, Texas. 3. We certainly had our chances but it just wasn't meant to be and after 2 OT's match ends tied 1-1. Women moved to (8-2-2) (2-1-1) and return to Bloomington to host Michigan on Sunday at 1:00.
  4. And we move to the second OT. Hoosiers had 2 more SOG but couldn't capitalize.
  5. Regulation ends in a 1-1 tie and we move to OT. Hoosiers fired 9 SOG but the Buckeye goalkeeper earned her scholarship stopping 8 of the 9. IU O$U Shots 19 11 SOG 9 3 Corners 4 3 Fouls 11 11 Camille Hamm issued a yellow card.
  6. Camille Hamm picks up a yellow card in 60' but it fires up the women and at 61' Jen Blitchok ties it up on an assist from Anna Bennett.
  7. First half ends with our Hoosiers trailing 1-0. IU O$U Shots 10 5 SOG 4 2 Corners 0 0 Fouls 5 5
  8. Women allow an early O$U goal and trail 1-0 with 15 min. left in the first half.
  9. '23 Gabrielle (Elle) Britt attends St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati and plays club soccer for Cincinnati United. https://www.hudl.com/profile/11487443/Gabrielle-Britt https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/gabrielle_britt https://ellebritt2023.com/ elle britt @ellebritt2 I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to Indiana University! 11. Indiana Baseball @IndianaBase Kind of a B1G deal
  12. We offered Lexus Bargesser in August '20. 5'8" PG/SG attends Grass Lake HS in Grass Lake, MI. (roughly 20 miles west of Ann Arbor). She's a 4-star and #56 in ESPN's rankings. https://www.ncsasports.org/womens-basketball-recruiting/michigan/grass-lake/grass-lake-high-school/lexus-bargesser https://secondhalf.mhsaa.com/topics/girls-basketball/senior-standout-aiming-add-grass-lake-family-fame Hudl Her first OV was to IU.
  13. Nitwit Puddytats 38 U is for underdog. G is for ghost as in ghost of a chance. L is for loss. Y is for yuck. 13
  14. Dustin Dopirak speculating that besides Cincinnati, the other scrimmage team will be Bellamine.
  15. You assumed correctly. His final 3 are Florida State, Texas and Tennessee.
  16. Ohio Buckets @OhioBuckets · Great to see Coach Woodson (@MikeWoodsonNBA), Coach Fife (@CoachDaneFife) and@IndianaMBB hanging out with Austin (@AustinParks2023) this past week at St. Marys!
  17. Pretty remarkable.
  18. From Jerry Meyer - Here is a quick look at 2023 five-star prospect Jeremy Fears who received an offer from Michigan State over the weekend. A 6-1 point guard out of La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere School, Fears has also picked up offers this summer from Kansas, Memphis and Xavier. Illinois and Missouri had offered prior to the summer and are considered strong contenders in his recruitment. He has recently visited Illinois, Indiana and Michigan State. Fears, a tremendous passer with a strong all around game, is ranked No. 26 in the 247Sports Composite. Jeremy Fears scouting report: Not a point guard with length but has a strong sturdy build. Plays with poise and composure but has a quick burst to the basket going either direction. Uses change of pace and change of direction extremely well. Has a top notch ability to draw defenders and deliver a timely and accurate pass. His greatest strength is running a team as a floor general. Finishes well around the rim. Not a high riser but gets off the floor quickly jumping off two feet. Prefers the pass over the midrange jumper. Can keep defense honest with his jumper but there is room for improvement. Has a low release. Has potential to be a tough defender. Could be a more aggressive rebounder.
  19. I think someone was just having a little fun with putting all the logos in the background. I don't have anything in my records and I don't see a mention of any IU offer on 247, Rivals or ESPN.
  20. More fallout in PUke's women's bball program. Purdue WBB asst. coach Terry Kix resigned on Sept. 16—same day Sharon Versyp announced her retirement; investigation concluded that "Kix's conduct toward former student-athletes violated the University's Anti-Harassment Policy"; Kix disputed the findings. Official statement from Purdue
  21. Post-game The Indiana women's soccer team scored two second half goals to erase a 1-0 deficit against Illinois and seal a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Bill Armstrong Stadium. KEY MOMENTS • In the 64th minute, Paige Webber scored a goal from well outside the box, sailing it over the goalkeeper's head to equalize the game at 1-1. • Alone on the break, Melanie Forbes kicked a long, dribbling shot that snuck inside the left post to give IU the lead in the 79th minute. • With Illinois threatening to tie, Jamie Gerstenberg held strong in goal for IU, diving on the ground to save a close Illinois shot in the bottom corner of the net in the 83rd minute. NOTABLES • The Hoosiers improve to 8-2-1 on the season and 2-1-0 in Big Ten play. • Webber's goal was her fourth of the season, totaling her for nine points on the year. • Forbes had her first goal of the season and it got her to four points on the year. • Indiana owned a strong advantage over Illinois in shots for the game, 12-5. • Indiana has won six of their last seven matches. • This is Indiana's first win over Illinois since 2019.
  22. 2-1 is the final score and the women move to (8-2-1) (2-1-0) with the win. Next Thursday evening at 7:00 they'll be in Columbus, OH to face the Buckeyes. Then back home on Sunday for a 1:00 match with Michigan. IU IL Shots 12 3 SOG 5 2 Corners 4 3 Fouls 4 13
  23. And in 79' Melanie Forbes makes it a 2-1 IU lead. Hoosiers continue to control the game having limited the Illini to 2 total shots.
