  12. I will be perfectly honest and admit I did not watch nor did I listen to the game and instead opted for yard work. Truly didn't expect us to win. Shocked doesn't describe my reaction when I came into the house and learned we'd won and with a comeback for the ages no less. Reading through this thread is like reading A Tale of Two Cities. The first 15 pages - the worst of times. Then on page 16, there's an ever so slight shift in the comments and by page 20, some posters are even starting to apologize for comments they made somewhere in the first 15 pages! From Page 22 forward - the best of times. An absolutely great day to be a Hoosier. Let's do it again tomorrow.
  13. Centerville escapes 44-42 on a basket by Tom House at the buzzer. Harry Houdini would be proud. Detailed stat lines should be available tomorrow. Cupps 13p 3a 3t Centerville plays again on Saturday. Rolf had 19p and 8r.
  14. After 3, Centerville trails 31-30. Shots not falling for Centerville (36%) and Cupps not having his usual game. Now with 3 TOs.
  15. Don't disagree. He is just a freshman so be important to see how much, if any, improvement his game shows next season.
  16. Good game tonight between Centerville and Fairmont with Fairmont leading 23-21 at halftime. Centerville came out flat to start the game and trailed 15-8 after 1, and the Fairmont lead grew to 21-10 with 5:27 left in the 2nd and then Centerville shifted up a gear especially with its defense. Cupps had 2 TOs in the first half and I think he was just 2-6 FG. Rich Rolf has 10 pts. for Centerville.
  17. Keady paid a visit to RMK in Bloomington today.
  18. FWIW an interesting read about Georgetown from an anonymous former player. Probably some truth and probably some fiction but who knows which there is more of. https://medium.com/@tamers.blurbs-0u/opinion-from-a-former-player-georgetown-mens-basketball-program-reaches-epic-corruption-levels-b053ef58ab5d
  19. Final score 12-1. Hoosiers had 14 hits and were aided by 3 PFW errors. In addition to Pyne's HR, Ellis had 2 HRs and 3 RBIs on the day. Platt, Bothwell and Moran each pitched an inning collectively giving up 1 hit and 1 run. We've now won 4 in a row and our season record is 6-6. We'll be in Troy, AL next weekend.
