    This was his 353rd career HR. He is tied for 101st place on the all-time MLB Home Run list and is 9th among Active players. Oh, and he's a HOOSIER!

    Last night the perfect example of how this season has gone. We led 8-2 after 4 complete. It's 9-2 after 6 complete and Neubeck had pitched 6 innings of 4-hit ball and thrown 97 pitches. We go to the bullpen; PUke scores 2 in its 7th and then just crushes us with 7 more in the 8th. Final score PUke wins 11-9. Bitterly disappointing.

    Nebraska wins 5-0. After leading just 1-0 after 3, Nebraska scored 3 in its 4th and another in the 5th. In our 7th, Cooper walked and a Josie Bird double put runners on 2nd and 3rd with just 1 out. But Strader and Goins strikeouts ended our last hopes. We managed just 2 hits off Nebraska's ace.

We had 9 hits; Bird and Haberstroh with 2. Cooper had 3 RBI courtesy of a 6th inning HR. VanBrandt had 2 RBI. Nebraska has defeated Michigan 4-2 so we'll play #1 seed Nebraska tomorrow at 5:00.     IU women knock off Washington 9-2 and will play the winner of Michgan vs Nebraska Friday afternoon at 5:00. Couldn't watch and haven't seen a box score, but Avery Parker became the IU career RBI leader with 205. She has been an incredibly impressive player for the Hoosiers.
