  1. I remember rooting for CTC to lose out so he would have a shot of being removed. I’m starting to get that feeling again with Woodson.
  2. Not surprising considering he’s not qualified to be the head coach at Indiana.
  3. That’s enough to get the job according to Scott Dolson. Have some experience and an Indiana alum is all it takes.
  4. I have zero trust in Woodson being the coach that turns Indiana around. He got to the tournament his first year with Archie’s guys before getting blown out by 30 to St. Mary’s. Second year provided mediocre run to the second round with an offense from 2010. Third year it’s a complete ship wreck without TJD. The program is stale, uninspiring, and has a very bleak future. Do kids want to come play for a grandpa that believes in mid range jump shots in 2024? He has to go. Dusty May needs to make another run next month. If he does, Woodson needs to be let go and Dusty needs to be brought in.
  5. I demand some apologizes ;) as I warned everyone here he would fail. He has failed. He is not the guy and never was the guy. He is not qualified. He’s a dinosaur coaching 2008 basketball.
  6. I remember when people said Woodson would work out. Funny.
  7. Great question! In my opinion. I believe Indiana being “back” would mean being consistently ranked in the Top 25 year after year, if not Top 10 in multiple pre-season polls. Multiple Elite 8 appearances in 5 years or less. Indiana would be back then.
  8. This program is so stale. Scott Dolson completely missed on this hire and it was so easily predictable.
  9. Fully agree. I would trust May, Hurley, and Stevens to turn this thing around and if they somehow couldn’t do it, then move Indiana to the MAC.
  10. Dusty wasn’t on my short list when Archie was fired. But I trust Dusty May more than I trust Woodson at this point. Dusty May could be the “Indiana” guy. Frankly, May is more qualified to be the guy compared to Woodson. Dusty is my #1 option. Right behind Brad Steven’s of course!
  11. No sir! I know my expectations which is why I knew the Woodson hire was a bust from the start ;)
  12. It wouldn’t surprise me with his age and his health issues. His walk looks like it hurts. If Woodson was 10-15 years younger I would have a bit more confidence, but he’s in a whole new ball park with being a college head coach vs a NBA assistant. This is a 365 job, not late September to April job.
  13. Agreed. But 4 different schools in the last five years or something is crazy to me. Id throw the Brad Steven’s contract at Hurley and see what he does.
  14. I could see that, especially with him leaving the Pacers to join the Hoosiers. He might have that “legacy” contract like Tim Garl.
  15. Yes indeed! But Kevin Wilson had a huge drinking problem as well and it sort of worked out LOL!
  16. The only loss from this staff would be CC. Jordan Hulls is just getting started in his career. I’m sure he’s hoping Woodson improves because a new coach likely won’t keep him around.
  17. Personally I would take Sampson over Beard because I’ve heard Beard is a real piece of work. Obviously given his media attention but he’s got a reputation around basketball circles.
  18. Fred Glass. For not canning Crean when he had the #1 team in the country when Brad Steven’s was “approachable” Have to love hindsight.
  19. As long as Indiana wins at least a couple more games, Woodson will be back. If they lose out somehow, then perhaps I could see a change made. But again, I think it will take Woodson retiring before him getting let go. Nonetheless, the report when Woodson finally leaves will be “retirement” despite him being let go.
  20. If they were to leave, which they could indeed for all sorts of reasons. I see Woodson hiring some younger coaches for recruiting purposes.
  21. Another day where this program is non existent in media. If only Indiana could be a real blue blood like Duke, UCONN, etc.,
