Michigan should feel the same way. If we don’t fit the “desperate,” “hungry,” or “pissed” role after getting stomped by Iowa in our house and being TJD’s last home game then we should pack it up now.

Ahh. Gotcha. I like that idea too but see the rivalry issue as being a non starter for many. I do remember one year that they eliminated protected rivalries and I think we played Purdue in Indy OOC

Random question for you guys. Why have home teams been wearing dark and away teams wearing white? Not sure if it’s been happening and I’ve missed it in the past but I’ve noticed it several times lately

Haven’t watched many mid major games this year. Would you say this year it will be more competitive because of better quality lower seeded teams or more parity among the top seeds?

There will be some adjustment for sure. This is where Woodson should have a pulse on the team. As long as they are willing to play whatever role Woody asks of them to win, then it will be good. Thankfully I don’t feel like we have any me first players so no worries

It’s long past time for reform. If IU were serious about basketball they would be making a USC type move somewhere else. The fact is IU is ok with the corruption as long as they get their cut of the money.

I may have missed it but is the implication that Sampson could be involved with Notre Dame or Oklahoma? I’d like to think Oklahoma wouldn’t take him back

4 of the next 5 on the road. This was a much needed win! It may not have been pretty but it is nice seeing us grind a win out against a team with a “tough” reputation.

And on one they gave Rutgers possession for a jump ball that should have been ours. We had the arrow

A little late but didn’t we have the possession arrow on that jump ball with TJD on the free throw rebound? Why did Rutgers get the ball?

I also saw one foul where their guy dunked it and ran back down the court. Had to come back down to shoot a free throw because he was so shocked to get a call.

Think we will be ok. Haven’t watched MD much this year but they have a good game plan. Running good sets on O and taking TJD out of a majority on D. They are dictating the direction of the game but Woody will get it turned around.

You are correct. The depth is where IU struggles the most. For all the complaints about “halftime adjustments” the truth is that most of the time we wear out in the 2nd half while other B1G teams can keep fresh without a substantial drop in talent.
