Would striking out like we seemingly have make whatever Donovan requested for his assistants more realistic? I still want Archie to succeed, I just don't see how it's possible. He might not be that IU guy like others want, but I'd think Donovan would be a guy who could unite the fanbase immediately. Somethings gotta change, be it Archie or whoever.

Relax, just was questioning why people were so dead set on Alford and needing an IU guy. Heard it often and in the grand scheme of things I’d rather have Fife who’s not struck out at a few stops already vs Fife who’s been tutoring for the best coach in the conference for quite a bit. I’d wouldn’t really want either of them if I’m honest

That’s my fear, they lose out and give up before we get to the winnable games at home against Minny and Wisconsin. Want to be wrong but just have no confidence in the roster as currently constructed. Roster needs an overhaul in the worst way but I have little faith in next year barring some incoming transfers.

All the more confusing of why Archie pocketed those 2 scholarships. The guard play was awful last year when Phinisee went down. Surely coach could see that and didn’t do anything to address that. Don’t get it

This. Just once I would love to see Rob be aggressive with his shot. Needs to shoot more. Even if his drives, it seems like he hesitates and stops even at the slightest resistance. Need some guards that can get by a guy and make the defense help and force them to recover. Even if we don’t have guys that could knock a shot down I’d just love to see someone get aggressive with the dribble and blow past a guy. Not a big Green fan but at least he’s looking to score, not sure about anyone else at times

People were convinced Crean wasn't the guy after the Syracuse Sweet 16 game, which was a team that was a #1 seed. I'll never understand why Loaded Chicken Sandwich, Brass Canon and Josh get so much grief for being convinced Archie is not the guy. Seems a bit hypocritical to me and I say this as fan of the Archie hire. This is not what I expected and I don't think shooters solves this

Justin Smith is so athletic but doesn’t play like it. So deliberate when he tries to drive and disappears far too often. He’s not the only one but expect more from him

Didn’t one of Crean’s guys run over a teammate with a car? Didn’t another one lock a teammate out of his own room so he could smoke a fatty causing him to transfer? If Sampson was BY FAR the worst, then Crean wouldn’t be far behind.

With how much we struggle to score I think it’s a big assumption that we’d be better off without Green on the team. Time will tell obviously, but I don’t feel confident that next year automatically will be better without him barring some incoming transfers as I don’t think the recruiting class will immediately fix our shooting and scoring woes. I’m a Archie fan but I tend to agree with the questioning of pocketing those scholarships. Either he struck out on guards this year or he poorly assessed the talent level of the guards he had. Hoping for the best

Getting that scoring drought out of the way early today. I’m not sure how many more games I want to watch this season. I used to and still schedule my days around IU games but our offense is just simply not fun to watch. It just enter it into the post and try to back the guy down and pray it goes in or draw a foul

I hope Coach Miller’s focus isn’t on 50-50 balls in the post game. I’d settle for another @$$ chewing like the NW game. This offensive performance is awful and that’s why we lost. Shooting would help but there doesn’t seem to be much of a plan outside of hoping one of the bigs can back a guy down and get a shot at the rim and pray it doesn’t get blocked
