He makes that layup - one he barely caught. Go figure -

What’s our lowest point total in a half? Did they mention when and who we were playing? -

This has been a problem since Day 1 Archie but could it be possible that it’s not easy for drives and kicks with this IU team as defenses can sag and clog the driving lanes as no one has proven to be able to consistently hit an outside shot. I can’t believe I’m typing this again but it doesn’t seem to be fixed despite adding Lander and Galloway. Durham seems to have the only obvious green light but it’s beyond frustrating watching the other guards become an absolute zero threat with the ball around the 3pt line -

We really can’t even get a shot off on an offensive rebound to close out a half. I thought there was a new offense this year - seems like we are trying last few years offense against Texas. Makes total sense Edit - hooray he was fouled before shot clock violation. More points -

Big10 season will eat us alive if they don’t improve. This is an embarrassing display -

Way to many easy drives and looks at the basket from Texas early. IU needs to get back and lock up on defense after a miss and make! Have a few still asleep for this early start -

The winners get the hell out of Asheville with 2 E's as soon as possible. I'm sure it's beautiful listening to Bill Walton most of my afternoon, but it's no Maui -

Hopefully TJD can get himself awake for tomorrow's 1pm start. He just didn't look good all game -
Honestly not too sure, parents live in Plymouth and my dad referees up there and said Penn postponed all team activities. There were several inter squad games this weekend. I know Plymouth was to have their own scrimmage today and I assume they still had it, but with Penn postponing I’d have to assume others will follow suit here at some point. I’ve been thinking this for a while but I’d be shocked if high school football has a full season this year. Would love to be wrong

Don’t we have one of those leaders currently. Trade wars, travel bans sounds like an attempt to make them pay to me. But in hopes to get us back on topic - how about Chicago White Sox’s Luis Robert. That dude is so impressive in the little sample size we have so far. Once he learns to lay off the breaking ball out of the zone - watch out

IUBB - 2020 Off-Season News

As the topic seems to be on TJD, has there been any sort of video or tidbits on any improvements from him in shooting and his shooting range? Would love to see him being able to step out a bit and nail a jumper this coming season. I’ve been out of the loop a bit but was curious of any progress made in that regard. -
Slight correction: DeKalb HS is in Auburn, IN. There is no Auburn HS.

The "Crean players" have been the best players today. This could be a whole lot worse next season.
-
I've been frustrated by this all season. With the way the game is played today with shooting and stopping the 3, the fact that we start 3 guys who aren't a threat at all from there and two of which need to be 5 ft from the basket frustrates me to no end. Smith being at the 3 just makes no sense.

Just a downright embarrassing effort on defense today
-
It's almost as if we expect to lose on the road so we just try and get it over with and get home as quick as we can. No effort from anyone. Not sure why people expect to be better without Green. He's not the reason we're getting smoked by 20 already.
-
Not sure I'm seeing much of an adjustment on defense. Still getting whatever they want
-
We can't play this hedge defense with the personnel we have. Brunk and Davis aren't quick enough to recover for it. TJD isn't much better. So many of their points are on the pick and roll or getting blown by with the drive. I just don't understand why we don't abandon that.

Sounds like he's your friend and that's fine, but in defense of others I think the whole asking Mrs. Crean about Stevens weighs heavily in their opinion. I didn't see the post-game presser so I can't speak one way or another. I would also just add that plenty of times when people criticize the players the common defense is "they are just kids". If it was as confrontational as it's made to sound here, then I'm of the opinion the way it was asked to Green sort of falls into that camp (although to be honest I don't think the players are above criticism). Again I didn't see it or hear it so can't speak to it one way or the other. Slow day for me as some other team introduced a show stopping bug into the code base so more active than I intended to be here, but just thought I'd speak up as you were coming out a little hot this morning. Great win last night and hope the team can build off this and sustain any sort of momentum gained as they hit the home stretch of the regular season.
