Couldn’t go because of a family commitment that I was just released from. Checked tickets and found a single resale for $35 in a great spot. I’m an owner. So pleased. This is a little weird: Apparently, the NBA is giving the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award tonight to Don Nelson. Never heard of it but that’s certainly a good call because Nelson was a pretty good player and hell of a coach. Apparently, it’s being presented an hour before tipoff. So, they drug an 85yo man from Hawaii to OKC to give him an award in an arena that will probably be less than half full? Isn’t that a halftime sort of thing?
