Haven’t watched that much of tonight, but on the strength of watching them get straight lathered by Santa Clara the other night I think X is the worst power conference team I’ve watched so far. Ok, since I’d never heard of it and was really curious what a buy game for an Incarnate Word would look like I had to dig into Jarvis Christian U for a minute. It’s an HBCU school in Hawkins, TX, which is halfway between Dallas and Shreveport and has a population of 1700, with an enrollment of 800. The last time they updated their basketball schedule was game 4 of last year. Alrighty.

And South Carolina it is. I don’t care how bad they want a ‘26 PG, can’t stress enough how ok I am with nothing coming of this one. That family is a problem.

There aren’t many better examples of a guy believing he’s the smartest guy in the room than this deal. But I’ll never get over that ownership signed off on trading a 26yo top 5 player in the world because they thought he was too fat for a supermax. Don’t care if the dude was eating BBQ during time outs, you just don’t.
