    Oh, heavens no. Got to do it. But from Stoops’ perspective it just wreaks of desperation and inevitable failure. Bringing in maybe the most expensive player in the country with the expectations that creates so you can go something like 5-7? What are you doing’? That ain’t saving your job.

    Will say this much, Sorsby is miles better than Behren Morton.

    That is stone nuts. Overpaying for a Sorsby feels pretty dicey, overplaying close to that just feels indefensible if you aren’t playing for a Natty at the end of the line. Question, because I don’t know really get the mechanics of this stuff: can they structure these deals with performance incentives or is that outside of how NIL as it is now works?

    For sure, nature of the market and I’m sure they’ll pay market value, but this thing right now has such ridiculous cachet that to the extent that anyone can do it in this era they can probably just select a QB rather than have to get into a heated bidding situation. If it turns out to be Hoover it’s because they wanted that QB rather a QB. We are so through the looking glass here. Unbelievable.

    Funny little coincidence. I’m watching this game right now and this little highlight reel came across my feed. Nice short summary of his pretty rare level of skill. The 2nd clip here, a behind the back pocket pass hitting a cutter perfectly is kind of nuts.

    Rewatching the game now. I knew Boykin had a game but I didn’t realize in real time how much that had kid a GAME. Wow was he good.

    I didn’t care who won this game at all, but the fairly spectacular whistle that UGA has been getting the entire 2nd half has turned me into an Ole Miss fan for the rest of the night.

    When did coaches start losing their minds on 4th down? That was worse than DeBoer. I don’t get it. They’re making decisions that can’t win you the game but can absolutely lose it. Seriously, what?
