    Imagine he would, but I’ll say this: SLU is a really, really good gig. They’ve got money, facilities, good conference and basketball is the only game in town unless you count soccer. Have always thought it has a Creighton-type ceiling, maybe a little higher than that, with the right guy. He can afford to be very patient.

    Schertz appears to be the overwhelmingly popular name among the Providence fanbase to replace Kim English. Hate to break it to them but while I’m sure they’re right that English is a dead man walking, if/when Schertz leaves SLU it ain’t gonna be for Providence.

    Is this being streamed somewhere and I’m missing it? Everything about it and the way it’s out there certainly feels streamed and yet nothing I’ve seen actually says that.

This may be the most glaring but I can’t imagine there aren’t a bunch of schools that are gonna have to make some pretty tough choices if they don’t have the resources to compete at the highest level.

    This is not a joke . Every all star game sucks but the Pro Bowl is so far beyond the pale of terrible. Does anyone actually watch it? Why does it still exist?

    Always wild watching guys bounce off the kid like he’s Derrick Henry at 205 or whatever he is. His balance and lower body strength are pretty nuts.

    I hope Payton takes an absolute and non-stop beating for the 4th down go call in the 1st half. A chance to go up 2 scores with your backup QB, NE had done nothing and you knew weather was coming. That was an incredibly easy decision for anyone not stone drunk on their own ego.

    This draft is so good it would probably require terrible luck to get it wrong, but Dybantsa is such an obvious fit that unless there’s something about the kid that they question it’s pretty tough to see them going a different way.
