Floored by Tony Stewart on the Indy pre-race. Between the suit, the Mel Kiper hair and the tortoiseshells if his name wasn’t on screen I don’t know if I would have known who he was until he spoke.

Watching Hiller right now and he’s putting on a pretty good show. He’s scored at all 3 levels. Doesn’t look quick but he’s gotten his shoulder in front of guys and gotten to the rim. Great looking stroke and they all look like they’re going in. Even finished one on the block. Big strong frame for a kid that young. He’ll be college ready day 1 when the time comes. Don’t know his name yet but the PSA PG is pretty good.. Hasn’t shot it great but has shown really shown vision and his been really disruptive defensively. Nice little player.

Hey Old Fart, for your records Ryan Hampton is playing for Nightrydas this weekend. Someone I was sitting near made it sound like a permanent move. Had an okay game tonight but he is just a relentless shot hunter and it looked to frustrate a couple of guys on that team, notably Nesmith.

When the shot is falling Anderson cannot be dealt with at the high school level. He’s too quick and too strong and too physical and nobody can stay in front of him. And he’s still 16 for God’s sake.

Imagine a lot of schools portalling for more mature bigs probably does play a part. But he’s also kind of an unusual player. A non-rim protecting 5 whose best used as a high post or mid post facilitator in kind of a Cam Krutwig/Loyola sort of way is not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea, though personally I love it.
