Archie’s fault, not Archie’s fault, I’m not sure but this team has a ton quit in them. They literally quit hustling and playing team ball and doing the little things for the entire second half. We threw junk lineup after junk lineup out there with no motion and just turned it over and over and over. I’ve definitely been impressed with our intensity and of course, ability to pull out some key wins lately. I was never one on the Archie is the guy not on the Fire Archie wagon but was beginning to really question whether he was the right fit as we struggled mightily and even when winning were seeing some of the same issues we’ve seen for 2.5 seasons. Again, I was never on the fire Archie wagon and I don’t think many truly were, just a few that were loud and many like me that publically started to share my doubts that I was having. Anywho, glad to see they have strung together some key wins and hoping like crazy we can finish strong and go into the post season knowing we are in and just debating the seed Edit: I know your post was directed at oldfriend but find myself sitting somewhere in the middle between the two sides. Long run.... yes, if we would have made a good hire. Davis was the guy that set the program into a long downward spiral. Well, I guess Knight was if we are being honest but it was Davis that lost the trust of High school coaches, AAU coaches and players and started the trend of not making the tourney becoming the norm. Right. It doesn’t matter until a kid signs but it doesn’t feel good to hear that PU, OSU, UK, UM, MSU etc lead for a lot of the top kids in the next few classes. Nobody on the team is injured, that’s wildly fortunate. When your 11th man is the only one on the injury report this far into a season and that injury is nothing serious, that’s pretty darn good.
