Those are both shooting guards and they knew they weren't going to play the point considering we had an All-American starting point guard... If we land phinisee as along term plan, do you think we still go hard after Garland? Could we get both or is one or the other? Not sure Phinisee will be as ready as Garland. Just need to get the right mix of guys and while that seems obvious, we are all used to seeing some very lopsided teams i.e. 6 man classes, no seniors, no shooters, no ball handlers, no bigs, all role players, all kids who need the ball in their hands etc etc, we've seen it all under Crean. If you care about getting to the league, come play for a coach that has a history of developing players and getting them to the league, what is archie's success rate in doing that? I would love to see this coaching staff assembled and start hearing more about what players they are gonna go after for 2018 and 2019. It will be interesting to see if he starts going after blue chippers right away.
