  1. This is as big a recruitment since Cody. If he lands Romeo to go along with Anderson & RP at the other end of the state; I would say locking down the borders is well under way.
  2. This definitely shows his range to my surprise. If he commits I’m sure we would advise him to help put on a little bulk. I hope we get him.
  3. Does anyone remember the Matt Carlino offer? I haven’t seen this kid play and certainly won’t compare Archie to the tan one, but how many blue blood programs are offering freshmen and sophomores? Plus, a lot can change in a couple years. TDJ said Purdue was his first offer and it meant something. That something will keep them in the final mix only to be heartbroken when he becomes our first 2019 commit.
  4. He’s a game changer like we haven’t seen since EJ imo. He has range, handles, and athletic ability straight out of high school. Next year could be special with Romeo leading us plus adding the already great recruiting class coming.
  5. Last days of Knight for sure. Things looking up recruiting with a coach that plays defense almost as good as him. Curse be gone.
  6. I thought Ron Felling was behind this after Knight let him go.
  7. Now I can get excited about this! He appears to have athletic gifts but needs a couple go to moves to his strength. What do you see his strengths?
  8. Curious as to your take on the staff’s outlook on Moore contributing a lot more next season?
  9. PM train please
  10. If he can develop like his dad at Clemson, he could be the rebounder and defensive big we desperately need. I called it on Damezi, I think TDJ is the first to pop for IU in his class.
  11. He did more at 6’ 7” and always put his team first. Godspeed DT.
  12. Like it or not Arch will be judged heavily moving forward on this recruit. Bottom line you have to close which goes a long way with other top in state recruits. Then you have to do it on the floor and that hopefully starts with Romeo.
  13. Nobody cares about basketball at Georgia. Good luck to him there; he doesn’t bother me now that he isn’t running our program any longer.
  14. What a game and reminded me of many games played and witnessed at the Wigwam. You just can’t beat Indiana basketball! 8100 screaming fans, two 5 stars we desperately need at IU, and our head coach in attendance makes for Hoosier Hysteria at it’s best.
  15. I would love to see us still playing even after the egg we laid in NYC. Archie probably had his worst game of the year, but the improved defense and ball movement has been exciting to see.
  16. Dang, that didn’t last long. 6 year deal too and out after 2 years. He will get a sweet buyout.
  17. I’m sure he would love to be coaching here. I wish him success on the court and recruiting against Kentucky.
  18. I am biased but this should be an easy choice for Romeo. Hoosiers want to see him play in high school; imagine the insanity playing for the candy stripes? If he balls out like EJ, get paid and come back home. If you like to coach, IU connections can most certainly help with NBA ties there also. Now with Archie and real improvement; Indiana is the place for Indiana boys.
  19. Coming from the university named on the report who’s players have been given extra benefits for years and a conference that allows no show diplomas. I find it amusing the NCAA is in the predicament and my dislike goes all the way back to Brand and our punishment. Their selective enforcement has caught up to them during March Madness; the best moment to shine light on their organization.
  20. Bo was too busy chasing skirts.
  21. Putting the pieces together, we all know now S Miller must have been outbid for Shiitto just like Archie for Garland.
  22. Yep and Dozier from SC got paid. Not surprised SC is involved. Frank Martin admitted and got booted out of FL high school ball for giving extra benefits. At least he was honest about it and said he would help his poor players with food, etc...
  23. Did we have a to left? 1.7 we could have gotten a better look. Their kid stepped up and made the shot. They won more than we lost and had infinitely more talent until Dakich came in the game.
  24. Best seats I ever had was that game. Kinda the same feeling 30 years later.
