(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA
schoosier replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
So TDJ cuts in state Purdue and keeps Iowa. This says a lot about your program. Ouch -
Green has to really step it up this year. Much better talent behind him now, and RP is a true pass first PG.
-
I thought he went from 8 to 10 to 12 win seasons. At any rate he should have had us trending a lot better before Cody came to Bloomington.

Hopefully he will lead us to 8 wins seasons too. -

Reminiscent of a former coach/ cheerleader. -

One of my all time Hoosier favorites also. I got to watch him at Madison Heights, and he ran the floor like no other big man in candy stripes. His full court dribble to a slam is #1 on my Hoosier high light reel. -
(2019) SG Armaan Franklin to IU

Welcome home Armaan! Having a top Indiana recruit, one from our neighbors to the north’s usual hunting grounds; is a great example of securing our borders. For those of you who doubt this philosophy, get ready to see the results starting this season. I am a happy man knowing this young player has decided to wear the candy stripes. -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky

I believe Calloway hosted him right after our last NC. Ricky never made it to the distance and I think he finished up at Kansas. Of course, Kemp didn’t last at UK but I’m sure he was paid handsomely while there. Plus some free jewelry. Similar story as Washburn at NC State. -

Lawson, soft 7 footer with a 3 foot wingspan. I remember him having good hands and decent passer, but he couldn’t jump over a piece of paper. Recruiting for Indiana then consisted of maybe Knight watching them once and then an offer. Times have changed with the addition of AAU handlers vs the old days of Sam Gilbert or UK just mailing cash. When Kemp came down for a visit, he asked what he was gonna get. Knight sent him home early. -
The summer officially closes this weekend. I would love to see a guard commit to get the ball rolling.

As long as OSU, UM, PSU and MSU are in our division which is arguably the toughest in America this year; I wouldn’t look for much success moving forward. I have been critical of our AD, but expecting success in this division is expecting miracles.

If he could have won big, we could all overlook the creepiness and weirdness this guy has. He is just a horrible in game coach and no amount of talent could make up for it. The 8 win total in year 2 was all I needed to see, but I still rooted for him to succeed and gave him props the few times his teams played well. I wish him the best at Georgia; they don't care about basketball.

Is this one similar to changing our colors from red? Consistently getting it wrong.

(2019) SG Armaan Franklin to IU

If he comes on board and wears 2, I already feel better than his predecessor. -
Arch probably feels some payback coming on several programs. He just seems to have this Bob Knight grudge, and I hope we beat any B1G team we play into the ground. Horrible coaching without Indiana players is finally over, and we should see dynamic results starting this year.
-
I want to start beating Wisconsin regularly. The lean Crean years have made me dislike that program very much as well as a few others. It’s time to regain our blue blood status amongst these other conference wannabes.

If he’s coming we should hear soon. -
If Tom plays the game, not many have deeper pockets then the dawgs. SEC is what others hope to emulate when cheating is your priority. Just ask anonymous coaches.

I thought the same thing. Probably some kind of illegal inducement while they look the other way on cash, cars, and no show classes at other power 5 schools. Really sickens me they have power to wield any violations. I say deny, deflect, and fight with our fine Indiana attorney grads anything related to this corrupt institution. -
I thought Barkley was only 6’4”

I would like to have at least one, but I’m confident Arch will close some of these top players. We are in good position with many and players are waiting. After we have a great season, these quality top 50 type players will commit sooner. Plus we will have the advantage of recruiting them for a longer period of time. -

This player is a great fit and I would love to see him come on board. His decision to delay may not allow this to happen, but being in the final mix for these type of top Indiana kids will start producing results this year. Come on down to Btown! -
Especially when one of the defendants worked at the NCAA previously in enforcement. You really can’t make that up. The only thing worse than the joke of an organization is where they call home. Wish they would move back to Kansas City.

My youngest daughter will be 13 tomorrow. Soon she will be in your daughter's position. Best of luck to her in her freshman year.
