Why are the Colts even trying to win this game? I know the regime is different, but it pisses me off to see them trying so hard to win a game like this when we once quit on a perfect season.

Glad OSU is getting embarrassed. Their fans deserve this. Anyone still want to argue they deserved to get in? Hard to believe PSU would have been this bad.

I'm just going to say this again: Glass is letting it play out because he knows how important his next basketball hire will be and doesn't want to make a change just for the sake of making a change. It isn't as simple as just handing Stevens a blank check. So can we please stop with the "Glass will never fire Crean/Crean will be here as long as Glass is" nonsense?

Probably figured he wasn't playing today and never gave it a second thought. Until he realized he was playing. Like I said, majority of the team has had their heads in the clouds for the past two weeks. It pisses me off that Crean still played him. I don't care if McSwain has to run more in the next practice. Knight never would have played a kid that couldn't remember to put his jersey on.

The team just isn't there mentally and hasn't been for a couple weeks. The McSwain jersey incident today just sums it all up. I mentioned this the other night, but I was with a friend in the Assembly Hall parking lot before the game Wednesday and we saw Blackmon walking in well after everyone else was there. These guys need to get their heads on.

Didn't watch the beginning of the second half, saw we cut it to 6, turned it back on and we were down 12 again in less than 2 minutes. Sorry guys.

Basket interference counts as a turnover? Whatever helps us pad that number, I guess.

Is Newkirk serious with that travel? High schoolers are better than that.

2 badly missed 3's, 4 turnovers and Louisville missed a couple layups. We're lucky that was a blocking foul and not a charge or it would be 5 turnovers and we'd be down about 10-3.

That last turnover shows this team isn't focused and wasn't ready to go today.

Pagano needs anything he can get to make his case for another year.

Drove 4 hours to watch my first ever game at Assembly Hall…of course this would happen. After OG missed a free throw late in the first half, a fan behind me yelled "Crean, you've got to teach them to make free throws!" I laughed. Question: how early do players usually arrive for warmups? I was with a friend and we noticed Blackmon sauntering through the parking lot around 5:00, well after all the other players were there. Not going to bother reading the rest of this thread; Crean is what he is, his system is what it is and this team is what it is. Welcome to 21st century IU basketball. We all want it to be better, but this is what we are. I think we end up 11-7, maybe worse. We don't have the leadership or the intangibles to win on the road in this league.

I'm not sure Irsay and definitive can be used in the same sentence. Irsay was going to fire him a year ago and Pagano himself talked him out of it. He's not exactly a man of conviction. I put zero stock into what he said two weeks ago because of what I just mentioned, and because I've never heard an owner/manager/president say they planned on making changes after the season when their team still had a chance to make the playoffs.

According to Pagano, next week's game is huge. Have to finish strong at 8-8. This guy needs to be selling used cars somewhere.

I hope attendance sucks next Sunday. Irsay deserves it.

12-6. Losses at Michigan, at Maryland, at Purdue, at Minnesota and Wisconsin twice.

The struggles of MSU have definitely led to a down perception. Iowa is a shell of what they were last year and Maryland is largely unproven. I got a chuckle out of the standings the other day. Minnesota at 11-1 and Rutgers at 10-1. Minnesota might be decent this year, as they have a pretty good freshman. Rutgers has played no one and their one loss was to a bottom-feeding ACC team (probably their best opponent).
