Don't remember which games were at the end of regulation (except the home loss to PSU where they pressed and we crapped our pants in the last two minutes), but I remember having 8-10 point halftime leads at Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan and proceeding to get dominated in the second half.

Wisconsin down 7 at the half, to Iowa, at home. What's happened to that team?

He told me the same thing. He later said that in the days leading up to the announcement, Cody got cold feet and was having second thoughts. He compared it to a groom before the wedding.
-
Was that the day the house went up for sale? I didn't see it anywhere.

Mile also called Christian Watford's commit, Gunner Kiel's decommit and Stanford Robinson's transfer. Really stretching my memory here, but I believe 0708 also broke the news of Sampson violating his probation.

Coach Search 2017 IU Candidate: Billy Donovan (OKC Thunder)

LOL I can totally see him going to a high school game and getting antsy when it's the end of the first quarter and the score is 8-6. -
Coach Search 2017 IU Candidate: Billy Donovan (OKC Thunder)
TheWatShot replied to Feathery's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This is the same coach who got an 8 year deal from IU, then went crying to Greenspan that it wasn't enough and demanded two more years be added to it. The more I find out about Crean, the less I like him, and I have a feeling it will only get worse as time goes on and we hear more. -
On the 247 board a few weeks ago, Hoosierhoopster claimed to have a source telling him that Crean would be here next year. I never knew him to have sources before, and I would have been more inclined to believe him if he wasn't the 2nd biggest Crean apologist on that board (after HTD), or if he hadn't been responding to posters wanting Crean gone.

"We were nervous, then we saw Tom Crean on the opposing sideline and we knew we'd be fine." --IU fans post-2017

Mike Davis went 21-13 with no seniors and lost in the first round to a 13 seed. He got the job because his team upset top-seeded Illinois in the Big Ten semifinals and had knocked off #1 MSU on Haston's game-winning three early in the season.

We just need someone to put a hand-made For Sale sign in Crean's front yard.

Game Thread : Indiana vs Purdue (7:00PM EST, ESPN2)
TheWatShot replied to Trish's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
How long until Purdue fans start bragging about having more Big Ten titles? The stupid thing is, they had to forfeit 24 games in 1995-96, yet they were allowed to keep their title. And of course, we finished second that year. -

0708 posted it on the other site. And with Crean, it's not hard to believe. It's what he does. -

He contacted the Big Ten officials because he's concerned about getting harassed at the game tonight. Seriously…I don't know how else this clown can embarrass this program. -

I'm not going to watch, and just do my best to avoid any discussion of it over the next few days. I hate that it's gotten to this point for me. I can't wait for this era to be over. -
The only way I see this happening is if Crean receives nothing but negative feedback from the schools his people are reaching out to, and Glass receives nothing but negative feedback from the candidates he's targeting.
-
You don't need to worry about this. It would take a miracle for us to win tomorrow night.

Sports Illustrated says 80% chance Crean is out.
TheWatShot replied to cherrykd's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Some time last week in the Fire Crean thread (in other words, about 50 pages back, lol), there was discussion about a radio station in Orlando speculating that Donovan was interested. Their Facebook page actually posted a picture of Donovan's house, then said "This is Donovan's house after Crean is gone from IU" and it showed a Brinks truck in front of it. Also, there was a thread on the Illinois board last week that talked about Donovan possibly being interested in returning to college. No mention of IU, until some of their posters collectively crapped their pants at the thought of him coming here. -
The 5 Biggest Recruiting Misses of the Tom Crean Era

Swanigan would be at California if Barnes hadn't forced him into Purdue. -
He told me he was going to shut it down for awhile. I think he feels he might have shared too much.
-
I'm not happy about them reclaiming the lead in Big Ten titles, but it'll be worth it if they get Little Rock'd again.
-
Wisconsin just doesn't have the firepower to win a game like this, and MSU is not going to be denied on its senior day. The Badgers took themselves out of the race by losing at home to Northwestern.
-
Let's be real, a coach is never going to say he's interested in a job but will take it next year. That's complete nonsense. So many things change in a year, and college basketball is the best example of that.

Anyone have crowd pics? I want to see how empty it is. -
Followed by the "OMG! Iuwins0708 just said he's hearing an extension is coming! Wait, he just said he's kidding, sort of, but that probably still means an extension is coming! ajwijfu824jijo328u#@$%#$@!wfo8f8sijvankjw;elkfj1!!!!!!!!!"
