  1. In other words, Crean won't leave this weekend if we're NCAA bound. At that point, who knows what Missouri decides to do. As he said, anything can happen.
  2. @MichaelAnthonyy @JAult75 @JoshWoolsey good question... I feel everything is in flux.. it is wait and see .. anything can happen @MichaelAnthonyy @JAult75 @JoshWoolsey if he makes a run it changes everything..
  3. I think it has less to do with Glass and more to do with how long Crean would be here. If we make the NCAA's, Crean would be here until after our last game, or basically at least an extra week. Maybe Missouri ends up hiring someone else in that time frame, maybe not. Hopefully we just lose today and it's a non-issue.
  4. The janitor doesn't regularly tweet. He went days, even weeks without tweeting during the season. If you're expecting daily/hourly updates, look elsewhere.
  5. Missouri lost. Hopefully that job officially opens tomorrow.
  6. I stopped reading here. It said EVERYTHING about Crean's coaching ability. That game wasn't some flukey, last-second answered prayer, we got our ***es kicked up and down the court and there was nothing he could do about it.
  7. Could have just had the tourney in Indy or Chicago like always and Michigan could have taken a bus…but no, the league must continue to pander to the East Coast.
  8. We're projected as a 2 seed in the NIT right now (8 is the lowest you can be). Most of the teams you reference would not be in the NIT if it wasn't for their auto bid, so they will likely be seeded near the bottom. There are still about 10 one-bid leagues that could still send their regular season champions to the NIT, but I think we're safely in at this point, even with a loss today.
  9. I'm so freaking tired of idiots like this. They've held us back for a decade and a half and done nothing but support and enable the bad hires we've had to suffer through. I talked to a friend today that doesn't go on internet message boards, and had no idea that Crean leaving for Missouri was even a remote possibility. We hadn't talked for a few weeks, and it never occurred to him that Crean could be gone after this season. I told him why it's time to move on and got the usual "can't fire a coach that won 2 big ten titles in 4 years" nonsense. He agreed that IU can and should expect better results, but that Crean needed another year to prove himself. I ended the conversation there. I think what it boils down to is that a lot of people in this state just aren't very smart and don't like talk of change because it forces them to think.
  10. It would be hilarious if they were revealed as our first round opponent and Crean resigned the next day.
  11. Would it be possible to find out the names of any of our targets' agents? Or even Crean's? Let's spice it up even more...
  12. Calipari was at Memphis before UK. He was fired by the Nets 20 games into his last season, making him available when Memphis was hiring. Pitino did go straight from the NBA to UK. I couldn't find any details on that one.
  13. I've thought about this too, but I really doubt any of this behind the scenes stuff would be happening if it was up to Crean. This is the highest paying job he'll ever have and his next gig will be a step down. He just doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would walk away on his own.
  14. People like this are how you get 6 years of Mike Davis and 9 years of Tom Crean. We must have more enablers and supportive fans than Duke, UK, Kansas and UNC combined. No way those programs tolerate as much as us.
  15. Here is the post: Checking flight aware this am. There was a jet (HB25 type) scheduled to depart Monroe County for St. Louis. I paid little attention to it since it was to land in St. Louis, rather than Columbia. With no further destination planned. After hearing that Anderson was getting axed at Missou... I checked in again. That flight was not only scheduled to depart Monroe for St. Louis.... but later is scheduled to return back to Monroe, later Sunday evening. Columbia is what .... a 200 mile drive to St. Louis ? Not sure, but I think so. And not that bad of a drive for officials to make.
  16. It wasn't started by Indiana fans. That's why it's getting so much traction.
  17. Here we go again…can't even get the ball inbounds.
  18. Do these guys realize we'd have to win 4 or 5 games to win the BTT? Why are they even discussing it?
  19. How is it a moving screen when a screen isn't even set?
  20. It really is amazing how many times in the Crean era we've had a double digit lead at the half only to watch the opponent come out blazing in the second half.
  21. Matta taking Crean to school on halftime adjustments. Just like old times.
  22. C.J. Jackson has drawn two fouls this half just by falling down.
  23. That's what happened with Davis. That team was 13-10 and had just lost to Penn State. Davis announced he was stepping down and they won 5 in a row.
  24. Dudes from ESPN are raving about the Big Ten and how many teams are going to make it. Rattling off all those teams…and no Indiana. Thanks, Crean.
  25. It's so bad that Illinois might actually mess around and get in. They've won 5 in a row and are playing Rutgers today.
