That game might have also been the only time I've ever seen pass interference called on a fake punt attempt. Glad it didn't affect the outcome because it was clearly the wrong call.

I'm really tired of OSU winning like 105% of their games.

The bottom line is this is simply not a good football team. I had such high hopes for Allen, yet here we sit at 0-5. You can blame the schedule all you want, but we will play all these teams next year, too. Maybe we slop our way to 6 wins again, but does anyone really care? That's barely even average in college football today. All this talk about "breaking through" and yet we're struggling to be a slightly below average team.

I. Hate. Our. Special. Teams.

This is usually the part where the defense gives up an embarrassingly big play to end it.

Of course. They never lose to Big Ten teams.

Man our defense just cannot handle this third-string QB.

It would be the most IU thing ever if we took the lead with about a minute left and then the special teams and defense blew it together.

Pisses me off that Gooch got tossed at Virginia for making a routine play because his helmet touched the QB's but that piece of crap tries to hurt our QB and gets to stay in the game.

I figured if we scored in the 20's it would be enough to win. It wasn't even enough to win the first half.

I've been in Allen's corner, but stuff like this is a sign of poor coaching. At least there's a basketball game to follow tonight. Not sure I want to bother with four more weeks of this slop.

Man, I can't remember Meyer ever thinking so highly of us when it comes to big recruits. I'm going to try and enjoy it while it lasts, because I'm sure when this weekend is over someone on Crystal Ball will pick them other places and the dominoes will start falling like they always do.

If Garland was that close to committing last night, I wish he would have gone ahead and done it. A week is an eternity in recruiting, especially this close to signing day. A lot could still happen to change his mind, and given how often we seem to be on the wrong side of that thing, that's what I'm fully expecting to happen here. I don't know, it all just seems too good to be true. Maybe we just haven't been this close to landing multiple five stars in one class, maybe we've just been left at the altar one too many times with our biggest targets, or maybe it's just two decades worth of cynicism telling me it just won't happen...because it doesn't. Or maybe things are different now. Guess we'll find out.

Hey, at least we're only 1 game out of...whoops. Oh well, at least Luck is practicing and will soon...oh wait. No worries, we have a coach with a track record of getting teams back on track and getting guys to play their best...never mind. I understand fans not having it in them to root for their team to lose, but it's a necessary evil at this point. I honestly don't know why anyone would be hoping for victories.

He's not getting fired midseason. Irsay has never done that and he won't do it to someone he likes as much as Pagano.

I think it's so you know who's posting. 2) There were many people complaining about the run defense last week. I was not one of them. I happen to like our defense. What I don't like is coming up short in games like this again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again... 3) I've posted on IU boards for years.
