I don't know what happened to my original response? It was there. End result was 12-6 with 5-5 finish (not counting the Wisconsin loss because that game had happen so we were 7-1

If we play like we have played the last 3 games then yes we can be a top contender.     Here is the problem though.  We haven't beaten anyone who has a good team/coach except maybe Notre Dame.     All of our good conference games against the top teams comes in the 2nd half of the B1G schedule.  This is when we tend to slump every year already.     Is it because they are tired, Maybe?     But when we get in games with good coaches we tend to get out coached and those games are yet to come.     Hope I am wrong but the stars are aligning for an epic meltdown.........unless we continue to play the way we have the last 3 games.  Unfortunately, I just don't have the confidence this will continue.  I am hoping it will though!

  I curious about this as well.  Seems like maybe it is punishment/super secret suspension rather than an injury.  Hope it is just an injury rather than what I mentioned and if it is an injury hope he gets better soon but something just seems fishy.

  Jerod was actually my roomate in college for 2 years.  He has a very distinct and knowledgeable way of getting his thoughts out.  And knowing his background as I do, he is very intelligent not only about sports but especially IU basketball.  He deserves a lot of credit for how the Assembly Call has come about and the success that it is having.  Very proud to call him a good friend. 

I too hope its in Nashville because I'd have to make the trip down to watch them from Indy.  I wish Indy\Lucas Oil hosted a bowl game.
