  1. Makes perfect sense. Probably the right level.
  2. With Kwame Evans. Not a bad run in the TP.
  3. Could argue we need 2 bPGs and 2 bigs. An injury to a PG is brutal. Sisley can play the 4 in spurts.
  4. I mean if we are being greedy we need 10 that can play. Sisley is one. I think My man Prince can play. I don’t think Karvala or Manhertz are gonna be ready but who really knows. We’ve added 3. Maybe 4. Plus 2. That could be 6. We need 4 more than can play, imo, and that’s counting Sherrill. 2 need to be bigs (Reibe/?) 1 bPG, and 1 shooter (jake Hall/Khamenia). I know it seems greedy but look at some of the rosters. It isn’t preposterous at all.
  5. I actually wouldn’t hate the addition as 8-10 Guy. Seems like he could be in that Humrichhous Mold but as a starter it’s just too risky. Type of guy that you get as the 8-10 and maybe he plays himself into more time. That would be fine.
  6. I love Tiller. He would bring a dimension we’ve not had at Indiana for a long time. Reibe is a easy take too. He’s underrated. I think he’s gonna break out.
  7. Sherrill would be a huge addition that lifts us a bunch. As it stands now, we are improved. By a fair amount. Conerway/Enright vs Burton isn’t close. Wilkerson vs Harris— Likely,Wilkerson much much better and effective. Still concerned about SG. Mustaf vs Dorn- Mustaf gives us so much more. Everything besides the shooting. Big advantage here. Sherrill vs our Centers? Not a good comparison on impact. Vastly improved. I think even with Sherrill we need 2 more big pieces to feel really good. But the vibes are high.
  8. Fair, but my second paragraph discusses overpaying. I had a gut feeling with the Carr hire we might be willing to overpay. Tyme and I have been talking and he said the 12 million reported budget wasn’t really a thing. Said money was there if we could get the right guys. That boosted my confidence but until you see proof, it’s a wait and see approach. The Wendy’s 4 for 4 will be the proof.
  9. It’s been pain……. lol. Just wanted us to act like top program or fold it in. I’m fine not getting the biggest of stars but no reason with our budget we shouldn’t be swaggy and splashalicious at least a little bit. It’s part of the ride.
  10. Never Too late. But wanted this type of action last season. It was painful from beginning to end. Could never muster any enthusiasm for that roster despite some really nice kids.
  11. Sure seemed like a done deal. Was told it was a done deal. Was the back off on our end or just that he got offered more? Strange one.
  12. Alright alright alright. This is Indiana acting like a big bully. #ballingonabudget is now #ballingonabigbudget. Mustaf is flat intriguing. Harris is a value pick up. Burton is a dude. And if we get Sherrill that’s a boss move. I love Tiller/Reibe as options. Love them both. Let’s get 1. Then I like Khamenia a ton for this roster. Not sure if that has any legs but we don’t seem to be done yet on higher ranked guys. Happy guy today, especially if the Sherrill news is legit.
  13. If we get his teammate Khamenia this one is even better. lol. Definitely seems like a risky move here. Love the upside, but I have no idea how they have any idea in what they are getting here. There isn’t any tape to grind, besides basically HS stuff. If the shooting is that pure, this current roster build needs that badly and he will carve out his role nicely. This is a type of move that doesn’t move the needle in the offseason but could pay dividends. I have no idea what to expect. 6’5” shooter though. And Virginia wanted him and that coach knows his stuff, so that builds confidence.
  14. Where are he and his (brother??) Gonna end up?
  15. Seems like a nice addition. Not building a top end team but a tournament team seems very possible.
  16. Been a while since we had a PG of his ability. I’m a little concerned about the shooting but cautiously optimistic. A guy that’s been there and done that just not with a lot of winning. He’s gonna be fun to watch. Let’s go Markus!
  17. Excited to see what he can do. The shot looks funky but it goes in decent amount on a limited sample size. The defensive potential and offensive potential to bully will be a trait I enjoy. Driving ability. Maybe he can finally get an Indiana friendly whistle and shoot a lot of free throws. Intriguing prospect with 2 years left.
  18. And Izzo got one of the 3 or so higher level center recruits we targeted in the 2026 class.
  19. I’ll admit the big make me nervous. Sherrill would be an awesome addition. Really like Reibe too. If we get neither of them I’m not sure who the back up will be.
  20. Reibe? Seems like a bit of an odd arrangement, but like him as a player a lot. Definitely looking to start somewhere.
  21. Too early to say but this is certainly making a statement. UL not afraid of a bidding war and seem to really go strong for their primary portal targets. I’m extremely curious what budget is left. But even at 8-10 which wouldn’t surprise based on this move, they can get 2 more strong pieces and a bench. We’ll get to assess this more in a few weeks to months because I like Burton and Sherrill almost equally.
  22. Pretty incredible. Corniest coach in the NCAA. He does have that corny swagger and big bucks behind him. Plus he likes to splash. Sheltad was a target for me from the winter. And Bidunga is the dream target for years. It’s certainly a way to enthuse the fanbase at minimum. If they spent 7 it’s probably well worth it. They likely have 8 or so to spend. Curious to see how the other pieces stack up. IF IF IF we get Burton/Sherrell it rivals the move in my mind as a near 1 to 1. With Sherrell being the piece that I’m not at all confident in. We’ve gotta get a centerpiece 5 in my mind. Especially if we don’t do much special at the 4.
