  1. Anyone see the video on Joksmovic that apparently Kentucky is recruiting? Fun video. We should steal that kid from them too.
  2. Moving to 76 for next year.
  3. I didn’t read the story yet just saw it posted here. Sorry. Wow. Crazy.
  4. Another team with talent jumping off the page. Supremely talented team, albeit young. The Calipari way.
  5. True, didn’t see enough from her at UCLA or IU to know if she’s more than rebounding and size. Mack could just get you a bucket when you needed one. Things get tough, dump it to Mack. Not sure If Z offers that. Hope she does.
  6. Definitely another disappointing season. Felt like it was over right after it got started. Seems to be talented, at least at the plate, although I’m not 100 sure the stats even back that up. Not an easy decision for Dolson here. It has the feels, like we are getting less than the sum of our parts. But it’s not gosh awful either. Would it end up being a full rebuild? Curious how this one turns out.
  7. 5 shot. Several of those 5 were from fragments. The other 4 were injuries from fleeing. All ladies with gunshot wounds from Indy and South Bend. Stemming from 1 fight. Terrible, somewhat predictable, but could have been much worse. The University/City needs to think about ways to make it safer. Especially around that Kirkwood area where crowds congregate .
  8. 9 shot. No fatalities. Stems from a fight. NO STUDENTS involved. It’s an utter shame and somewhat predictable. The solution to the problem isn’t an easy decision or discussion. Wish little 500 was still Indiana University students and their friends. I lived on Jordan during my time and we had a major fight in our front lawn with Simga Nus, Delta Chis, and SAEs during one our little 5s. But a drunken fist fight was always going to be the worst thing to happen. Simpler times.
  9. lol. Never going to waiver. I admire it.
  10. Maybe but both lack actual production. On a roster that is devoid of a go to player in the backcourt and front court.
  11. I feel like this is more proof of the hints Rabjohns gave us last week. They used Rabjohns to lower the fanbase’s expectations on who we add 11-13. I don’t love it. But at least we got some proven talent on this roster. I think it’s risky in the sense we need players to hit that might not.
  12. Really like Coogan. Wish the Colts would have made that move.
  13. Oh wow. Ok. That will be must watch. I can see the reasoning.
  14. I feel that and with the timing of Vasaar that makes absolute perfect sense.
  15. Has the feels of Kentucky. Maybe BYU. Do we know anything?
  16. I like your optimism. I continue to hope for 1 more sneaky good move plus Big depth. The 5 for 5 thing would be a disaster. I genuinely hope that’s not what we are waiting on. Has the Leal/Goode feel from last year that lead to Ristic/Acinovic. That leaves a bad taste. Lol
  17. Incredible work by them. McKinney is guard i’d project to have 1 of the biggest sophomore leaps in the county. Kid is so good. The 5 star freshman they just added is a man. So physical and built as a freshman. Estrella. The other big coming of injuries. If Florida is 1, Michigan is 2. Seems like a clear top 2 this year already.
  18. Unless you are using mistruths to support a debate. And pinpointedly countering my posts with said mistruths. It’s my nature to call that out like one would in any debate. Otherwise, i like the diversity of thought. No one is right 100% of the time. And that’s why I continue to post here because it’s a good balance of takes, and the reality lies somewhere between the extremes.
  19. It’s wild to see these takes now. Convenient memory loss.
  20. I had LOTS of issues with the year 1 roster as it was being put together. The noted lack of the right talent at PG and C. The fact they were all Seniors. The fact the were all Mid Majors. It wasn’t hard to see what was coming. Anyway with that. Programs that get benefit of the doubt? Purdue. Michigan State. Houston. Kansas. Iowa State. Al though Kansas is losing that aura. Teams that consistently win despite what the roster looks like or the obvious ones like Duke, UConn that just win off seasons and during season.
  21. While true, It was the mostly the same staff that gave us the roster we had last year. I don't see why a message board should have blind faith in their team. This entire thread is about discussing potential pitfalls and strengths and where improvements are needed. Regarding Summer jumps, sometimes you never know. The staff won't always know either. Gotta play the games many times to figure it out and trust your eyes and instincts. That's why certain coaches and certain programs get the benefit of the doubt. We aren't there yet with this regime.
  22. The staff is literally banking on that. The problem is if they aren't what you need at the spots as freshmen it leaves you very thin. Locker room culture and happy agents are the only benefits I see in that plan. (which I definitely see the benefit in) Duke has Rippey, a top flight guard almost definitely coming off the bench. And if he isn't coming off the bench he will have to beat very obvious starters for the role. (I know we aren't Duke). Other rosters I could point too as well. Illinois, NEW Texas. Anyway. We've got 7 we mostly know what we are getting. Well 5. Harris and Sisley remain with some questions. I think Devries likes to play 8 or 9. And I do too. If Harris and Sisley (aren't ready) and the Freshman. We need 3 guys to pop. And if Harris and Sisley pop you only need 1 or 2 of the freshman. So, I can see it, as I ramble on. Really want Moody to be great, and he seems like the most likely to contribute as a fresh to me.
  23. Also, Notre Dame having the first 2 RB off the board is wild, absolutEly Wild.
