I think Fred’s tenure as AD will be looked at very positively. The capital improvements he made in his 10 years are very impressive.

If he's projected in the lottery, he should go. I think he'd easily be drafted in the first round, but skeptical as of now if they'd take him with a top 10 pick. A lot less confident he's a two year player now than I was when he signed.

Archie had this team playing their best at the end of the year. We’re 10-1 and just getting our PG back. I fully expect us to look and play far better in January and February. I’ll be happy with whatever record we need to make the tournament this year. After that, all I really care about is getting some tournament wins.

I asked this question at this beginning of the year. I think he’s not as great as Vonleh, who was epic, but maybe as impactful as Zeller. Disappearing during the Wisconsin game makes me want to wait and see, but he’s the best freshman under Archie so far.

If you single out those two stats and ignore the rest then sure.

Joe, they didn’t need to create a new rating system to rig it. Why don’t you create your own composite and see how many of the mid majors make it in. The bigger schools are better because they have more money and can recruit better players. So you can try to fix the ratings all you want - it won’t help.

A composite doesn’t ensure “accuracy” and how do you define accuracy of a subjective quality “best teams”. The NET is totally fine so far after one season.

Well, our defense is arguably some of the best defensive play out of Hoosier team we’ve all seen in over a decade. That’s wild... legitimately good defense that will make us really dangerous the more consistently we can bring it. Our offense... what the hell. The small ball lineup worked in the first, but Smith nor Green nor TJD were bringing it tonight. TJD coming back down to earth, but still playing well. Everyone wanted Brunk and Al benched, understandably, but then they saved our *****. Only reason Rob played only 13 mins has to be because of bringing him back slowly/strep. Not seeing the improved three point shooting from Anderson, Al, or anyone really.

Man we’ve seen some absolutely suffocating defense from this team at times. Hoping consistency increases over the year... would be pretty hard to beat a team playing defense like that for 40 minutes.

You knew what USPS was referring to when he said great. Q1 wins that are critical to tournament seeding and inclusion, which is exactly what you were complaining about. Then, you mocked “great” because those wins don’t fit a different expectation of yours. So yes, you’re just being obnoxious.

Well, I was being sarcastic. I think all is fair game. If what you said in the past was wrong, you admit you were wrong and move on. I was wrong about Crean many times in the past (probably more a case of wishful thinking than true belief, but who knows...) and I think those freaking out over this one game will eventually come to see they’re wrong about Archie.
