  1. Let me know when we beat a team that is anything better than mediocre.
  2. Also, if he is successful there could be seen as another selling point for the team drafting him. Dude would be able to play guard or tackle. Wonder if there is any history with him playing tackle in practice.
  3. Would that be a draft stock thing? Cause like typically maybe one guard goes in the first round, maybe 2. Whereas tackles you can see like 4-5 in good years
  4. .... Yeah, and we'll probably start losing once we play teams that don't suck ass
  5. I'm glad someone asked, cause it seems like something that would totally be true.   Would be kind of funny if it was, since they update daily, but they are about as anti-knee jerk reaction guys as it gets. It would take until the end of the year for Troy to really see a difference on their page for him
  6. I mean literally all those guys do is follow draft prospects and talk to NBA teams. The other sources usually do a good amount of other things. I mean if people want to use other sources its whatever, but they should pail in comparison to the guys over at DraftExpress
  7. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Best guard in the nation.
  8. Pretty sure he is referencing that Harden two years ago was awful defensively and seen as one of the worst in the league. Issue with that narrative is that his defense took a huge climb and he looked really good last year. He has taken steps back this year, but the narrative that he is an awful defender doesn't really work anymore.
  9. Unless Troy can start shooting from the outside consistently at all then the spacing on that lineup is broken, like completely.
  10. Eh, saying that the 12-13 team wasn't as athletic as a lot of the teams they played that year is a pretty big stretch. Vic was an outstanding athlete on the college level, Cody tested out as a great athlete, then you add in guys like Yogi, Hollowell (who is still a pretty fluid athlete), and Hanner. This year's team is more athletic, but you are underselling that team's athleticism a lot. Really Wat and Jordy were the only two on that team that logged big minutes that weren't really that great of athletes at the college level
  11. Eh there were some. The usual, well he isn't highly rated comments, the well he isn't from Indiana so I don't think he is all that great. Then the combination of those two comments
  12. Yeah he is starting, not getting starter minutes though. Think his minutes have been increasing on a monthly basis.   One of the few players that isn't a Pacer that I make a point of keeping tabs on in the NBA
  13. Uh, does my math suck, or am I right and saying he still isn't at 50% for the season. Being 5-7 today would make him 35-80 for the season..... that isn't 50%
  14. It isn't going to happen, but can we not start Troy for a game or two.
  15. Congrats on finding one example. If you guys really think this game is an outlier to typical college basketball then something is wrong.  This is what college basketball is, awful officiating that 99% of the time favors the home team.
  16. College officiating is atrocious across the board. Also, we've jacked up 14 3's to their 4. This happens all the time on the road unless you're a UK, Duke, UNC, or Kansas.
  17. .... Lol, this happens to just about any team playing on the road in college.
  18. ..... Uh, are you guys surprised? I mean that is kind of Tom Crean's offense.
  19. Chad Ford is a freaking joke when it comes down to it. Dude should have just about no credibility when it comes to pre-draft stuff, and chances are he'll end up changing his mocks years after the draft ends up happening anyways. And no, Bryant isn't anywhere ready for the NBA. Like he is well behind Vonleh at this point.   I'm probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest NBA fans on this site, you don't need to tell me anything about the Vonleh draft stuff, and really the only team that came out with was the Celtics. No other team was really reporting anything of the sort, don't know where you're getting multiple teams from.    Vonleh shot about 50% from three as a freshman, even if it was a limited sample size it showed he had the ability to shoot that shot. Coming out of college he showed he could shoot the ball. Not to mention Bryant hasn't even shown to be able to touch Vonleh when it comes to rebounding.
  20. It would be a dumb decision for him to leave after one year, and this is coming from someone who thought it would have been idiotic for Vonleh to come back. Vonleh's strengths, being a stretch player, benefitted him in the NBA. Bryant's doesn't really translate that way in the NBA.
  21. Is he transferring? Cause he wouldn't play even a second in the NBA next year
  22. Lol at the Troy comment. So some of you guys still holding onto this notion? He isn't that good Edit: By that good I mean one of the top players in the nation like some of you make him out to be. Nor is he the matchup nightmare some of you make him out to be
  23. I don't really get the flirtation from NBA teams when it comes to him. Yeah it has been mentioned that he had no success in his first stint. But, I mean look at the system he runs. Doesn't really run an offense, and yeah go look at the NBA it is more driven by teams running an offense than not. His defense is great, but would just be standard in the NBA. Dude has shown that he can't win all that consistently if he doesn't have a lot of talent that is steps better than the competition, not many coaches ever actually do. And in the NBA the talent level evens out quite a bit, unless you're the 76ers, or at this point the Nets
  24. True. Though doesn't help that King got fleeced in every trade he ever participated in. Prok put him in a horrible position. They probably won't do it, but they need to trade off Lopez and Thad in the hopes they might get a first round pick. They've probably been set back about 5-6 years, and neither one of those guys is going to be good by the time the organization might be good enough to win again.
