So this past draft looks like it is going to be one of the best drafts in a long while for bigs. KAT is just something else already, Porzi is putting up numbers while playing with a bunch of guys who should probably be playing overseas (other than Melo), Turner has been putting up numbers in short and long minutes, WCS can't really do anything offensively (but he has been what the Kings needed defensively), Portis is doing stuff for Chicago, Jokic is putting up numbers in limited minutes, Okafor is putting up numbers while playing with some guys he found at the Y. 

People did the exact same thing when talking about how there shouldn't be a huge drop off between 2012-2013 to 2013-2014. We had Vonleh coming in, Williams was extremely raw (still is), Yogi was a sophomore, Sheehey, Robinson was talked about as an underrated recruit (like literally every recruit we get outside of the truly extreme stretches), people thought Hollowell and Hanner were going to make jumps.   Point is every year people want to talk about the incoming and/or returning talent Crean has coming in as a big point for why we can't fire him. Unless there are big bold letters in the sky saying that the coach won't be back, then you can say this about just about every coach in Crean's situation. At some point the it doesn't matter what we could potentially lose, not even guaranteed, you have to go in another direction. 

Lol, Matta has done a lot at OSU. Hell of a lot more than Crean has done here. Funny thing is some of their fan base turned on him a hell of a lot quicker than we turned on Crean

This is how many years of Crean, and we're just now finding out if he can win consistently? Also, why do some want to make excuses for losing Hulls, Watford, Elston, Vic, and Cody. The only one going into that year that we should have been surprised by would have been Vic, and even then we were really starting to see the glimpses from Vic more and more as his sophomore year went on. Cody was a very highly rated recruited coming back for his sophomore year, when some thought of him as a late lottery pick as a freshman. Hulls, Watford, and Elston were all seniors, there was never a reason to expect them to be here longer than that year. The fact that we couldn't even make the NIT was an absolute embarrassment on a whole other level. He has had plenty of time to prove he can win consistently, and he hasn't done it

Only real positive to take was Bryant. They barely won at home against a truly, truly awful team. Hopefully this isn't that start of the late season swoon we've come to expect from Crean coached teams

Great, DD calling Melo the best guard in the nation for 2 hours. Has he really never seen Kris Dunn? I can't really think of a situation I'd be in as a coach, and I'm like "yeah I'd rather be playing with Melo rather than Dunn"

You would think ESPN would be hyping up that Iowa-Maryland game more. I mean, who has been more impressive than Iowa recently? And Maryland still really looking for a signature win to add to the resume. 

..... Seriously. Yeah, go look at my comments about the football team. I don't like the direction the basketball program.   I made a small joke about freaking Austin Etherington being a pump fake machine and you turned it into some negative statement I made....

They never disappeared. Most stayed and were being cautious. Most have props for how the team was playing while still being cautious. But good job only calling out one side of the fan base and over generalizing them

And I'm sure there are Iowa fans doing the same thing. But, some of you guys are just looking at certain comments and generalzing them to the whole fan base...... also notice how I said some. Seriously, this is literally the pot calling the kettle black, type situation.
