Overall, I am not mad about it IF results follow on the court. In fact, I might even be impressed but I do not see how it directly improves the product on the floor. The product on the floor, especially with the level of talent we have, needs to produce. Nonetheless, what you shared about Twitter Hunter Pro certainly was not done by accident. I have seen a lot of ideas floated around about who may have had access to the program and was able to share this via twitter and one that came to mind reading this was perhaps someone associated with Woody's agent or perhaps even Adidas. Both entities may have more experience creating energy/buzz for people and products and I could see how this could be linked to either. Regardless, it was good find.

I think this is a fair floor. He is in year 4 and has what looks to be a strong roster, of his choosing.

Are they (Mullins and Sisley) targeting the fall visit for a commitment? If so, why wait? It would seem if they have decided an earlier announcement helps with momentum with others whereas a delay suggests they are still gathering info

Believe it or not Dakich made a good point several years back and said that Painter needed to get back to recruiting Purdue guys. Kids that were overlooked, chip on their shoulder, tough and willing to work hard type of guys. He has largely done that and sprinkled in some higher end kids but Painter has been able to build a competitive culture there that has allowed him to sustain success. Does not mean he wont swing and miss and have a drop off but I do not immediately count them out just because they lose Edey. As for a watered down conference and 12-8 indicating mediocrity, i think a better measure should be post season success. Winning percentage in the tournament would be part of that but having teams reach the elite 8/final 4 and championship games regularly (which I do not think we have had) is a better indicator.

I never went to my professor's office hours for my undergrad and needless to say graduated with a meh gpa. That was also largely paid for by my parents but when I went back to school, on my dime, I visited professors regularly. Heck I even found out where one lived and took my kids trick or treating in his neighborhood so I could just happen to run into him lol. Sure call me a stalker lol, i will go with creative. Office hours are such an unutilized opportunity to get help, get to know your profs and vice versa and really help you understand things that were missed while in class.

For a #1 pick, and just looking at box scores, Boston does not seem to be producing at a very high level. I admit i have not watched many games so fill me in on whether she is likely going to be great.

I don’t get it when folks say he can’t coach. I mean he can obviously. Even a mediocre coach can coach pretty well. Is he a good to great coach, well we haven’t seen that yet but he can coach.

Most of the others aren’t watching so since it is just us can you let me know why there is a good reason to stretch into June?

This seems to be a reasonable approach. I felt like Crean used to keep starters in too long for early games and even blowouts. Assumed he was padding stats but wasn’t sure. But early on play good opponents and play the depth players so that later in the year you know who to count on when making a run.

I kind of think the low bar should be a team much like the 2011-2012 team. We all knew that the next year was gonna be a great year. He has enough talent on this team to do more but if our young kids are really coming on and will be back another year then that is a good low bar. It can’t be the Mike Davis help is on the way stuff but guys we can see on the court now excelling but not ready for the NBA. Beat case we make a deep run and we have a chance to bring a lot of those guys back.
