#5 Indiana v. #243 Liberty... Mutual? Post-game thread

It is the pointless playing of them late in blowouts when they are bored and not playing sharp as it is that is the thing that bugs me. If we play the cupcakes let the subs get more time -
#5 Indiana v. #243 Liberty... Mutual? Post-game thread

The thing is he does not rest the top guys. Priller got in with what 2 mins to go? He will run with the top 7-8 guys up to about 2 -3 minutes to go then maybe take them out. Too many games we are up 25+ with under 5 to go and all the starters can be still out there. -
Can't drop the ball. Especially bad when it leads to a score for the bucs. Need a lot of yards to make up for a fumble that leads to a score

Much better start than last year. Way to hang in during the early struggles and then surge for the win. Rob had a very good 3 minutes. Need much more of that. -
Sorry to hear that. It has to be hard to wait for the results. Our minds can really bog us down with worry. Will pray for healthy results and perseverance while waiting.

Troy Williams - Taiwan Beer (Taiwan Super League)

Yeah I just looked that up too. Not good getting blown out but good to see him as the leading scorer. -
It isn't about threes or nets really with him. It is about D and the rest of the game. Glad to hear he had at least one steal. Hopefully he can greatly improve those parts of his game

Like how he said "we" -
If you watch the first half pick i get why he threw it. TY makes the cut and at about the time Luck has to decide to throw or not TY had come around and was just past the defender. Inexplicably TYs momentum slowed and the corner broke to the ball faster. Had TY kept running he would have had a half step gap.

Miles will go to a bigger program - he got fired for not winning enough. He still won a lot. Now NDs Kelly - that may be possible and may still be a big hire
-
Ah - well at least not as bad as a delay after a TO but I get it now
-
Yeah I could not figure out the trade comment

What/who?

It is not only the amount you have to pay Miles to consider but he is used to having highly paid assistant coaches with him. Could PU double (maybe triple) the head coaching salary and more than double to cost for top coordinators?

For me, OG is down the list for why I think this team could be really good. TB, a key starter from last years team is back. He played well against some good bigs last year and played well over a lot of minutes. JBj has to have a good year for us to be really good. A great year and we finally break though the sweet sixteen. RoJo should hopefully become that steady, more consistent player on both offense and defense. If RoJo can protect the ball and bump his scoring up a few more buckets/game then we will be a tough team to beat. OG, if he can become a starter or 6th man and continue his play over extended minutes (like vs UK) then again we become hard to beat. I think TB, and either JBj or RoJo need to have a pretty good bump up from last year for us to be great. If they are basically the same players as last year we would need OG to be all big ten just to be good. -
We have a new DC so maybe it came with him. I am pretty sure in the past we may have thought we were still signals but the way we played we just misinterpreted a yawn.

Luck played better when he had the freedom to run as things broke down. He has also lost a lot of offensive coordinators and QB coaches his first few years. If things stabilize and he judiciously adds the run escape he will be alright.
