  1. What about FOY? DPOY?
  2. IU moved up to #20 RPI
  3.   On the last inbounds play part of the reason we couldn't get open was our "routes."  Z3 ran a direct line to the sideline, where are you going?!, instead of cutting up court.  Also having a pressure release, like Bryant, helps in that scenario.  Bryant had just drained a few free throws without touching the rim.
  4. The biggest impact the losses in Maui had on IU, other than the obvious L, is the impact to the overall SOS.  Instead of playing a terrible St. John's team we would have had games against opponents in the RPI top 100.  The games against St. John's and UNLV really impacted our SOS.
  5.   Watching it after the fact, it appears JMor thought it possibly separated again while it might have just been a stinger.  It probably didn't hurt any less but the length of time to heal is probably significantly less time.   Really cool seeing RoJo on the bench keeping JMor's head up.
  6.   I actually think there might be a little something to this.  I'm not saying it's the reason he's been coaching better but he seems to balance Crean out.  Crean seems to be a coach that can wind his players up pretty tight but the S/C coach seems like he is always pumped, minus being sick @Ill.  He looks like the guy to back Crean in what he says while also making sure the team is pumped up and loose.
  7.   Iowa has wins Michigan doesn't.  When Michigan wins that game it should lock them into the field.  Iowa has wins against some real quality opponents, just losses and a slide piling up.  Iowa will still be around a 7 seed while Michigan will be a 10ish seed.
  8. Just watched Fran's post game presser.  I might give the guy some flak for going all Franimal at times but he manned up in the post game presser.  He admitted it was a correct call on the goaltending and apologized to the refs for getting on them.  Props for that.
  9. Yogi Ferrell Denzel Valentine Nigel Hayes Jarrod Uthoff AJ Hammons   I can't give Malcolm Hill first team with Illinois having such a terrible record.  If Illinois was at least middle of the pack it might be easier to make a case for him.  It's difficult to pick a player from Maryland because one of their players hasn't really stuck out more than the others.  Melo was supposed to run the league but has absolutely struggled as of late.    KenPom basically has the same list as I do but in this order 1)  Denzel Valentine 2)  Jarrod Uthoff 3)  AJ Hammons 4)  Nigel Hayes 5)  Yogi Ferrell
  10. Dammit, I ran out of likes but still like post!   Lost in the celebration..   IU is the #1 seed in the BTT, MSU is likely the #2 seed in the BTT now.
  11. I'm kind of torn on this.  I have been an IU fan long before the BTT as well.  As long as we win the games we should, I'm good.  I don't want to lose all momentum in the BTT but I don't like the extra risk for injury (VJIII) in a tourney that doesn't mean a ton.  I would like to see them win a few games and stay healthy and get some rest for the big dance.
  12.   Was he wearing THOSE glasses during the game?
  13.   Too far out to get a 1 even if like "everything" played out in our favor.  I could see a 2 seed still in play though.
  14.   And his 132nd start, most all time in IU history.  (right?)
  15. Hammons and Woodbury's last career buckets against IU were actually scored for IU.  Wild!
  16.   A little growing up tonight on the road.  Loved seeing the frosh step up and play big roles and then knockdown important FTs at the end.  JMor and OG have been huge when many, myself included, thought they might contribute as upperclassmen.
  17. Outright B1G Champs for second time in four years!!!    Really hope JMor is okay.  He looked in terrible pain for awhile.   Yogi just sealed himself in the upper echelon of IU history but still has some business to take care of.  That was a determined performance despite all that happened.  Glad to see everyone contribute on the road.  This team is doing what good teams do.   *note* There are questionable calls and then there is just a downright attempt at a screw job.  Glad to see the boys keep their head and overcame everything thrown at them.  And I jacked my back up against after jumping up when Yogi hit that big three.  Crap!!!
  18. Just get it over with!!  What was the line on this UF-puke game...?
  19. But the Big 12 is far and away the best conference!
  20.   If Nebrasketball can get it within 10 by halftime they have a chance.
  21. Florida is struggling to make anything besides a dunk.
  22.   I can also see that energy go south real quick if IU jumps on the Hawkeyes early.
  23. you da man martin!   Now, let's beat the hawkeyes on their senior night, secure the outright title and #1 seed in the BTT, cut their nets down, and start March 1-0.
  24.   Think that's a 3 seed, with a BTT title that gets IU a 2 seed imho.
