Huge three by Taylor there. He felt it, stepped up and nailed the big shot.
-
I didn't catch that. Now I'm going to have to find it. Those two would be nuts on a call together. This 'Zona-Utah game is intense, really good ball being played.
-
I don't think so. I think he'll be there another year or two.
-
He also had the "Arizona is reestablishing order in the universe that is the conference of champions." How could you not love this dude? Please

Rutgers - worst power 5 team

Gus Johnson and Jim Jackson doing the Nova-Marquette game. I really wish they were doing the B1G still!
-
Pretty nice passing between Craft and VJIII on the last two fast breaks. B1G representing haha

This overtime has been bucket after bucket after bucket. Crazy! Valpo up 76-74 with 31.8 left Milwaukee ball.
-
Good defense by Milwaukee but #2 has to give that up to the wide open teammate. OT
-
Great finish coming up on ESPN2. Valpo - Milwaukee tied at 59 with under a minute to go. Valpo scored on last two possessions coming out of timeouts in crunch time.

In video of the game broadcast, Allen was seen stretching his left foot backward near midcourt as Rathan-Mayes broke upcourt behind him in the game's final seconds. Rathan-Mayes ran into Allen's leg and stumbled to the court. Allen then turned to Rathan-Mayes with outstretched arms, his palms facing upward. "He wanted to keep playing physical," Allen said, according to The Fayetteville Observer. "So I tried to walk away from it as he was grabbing me. We ended up tangling up and falling." - This is rather hilarious.. "XRM ran into Allen's leg and stumbled." Really ESPN? That's what you got?

IUBB Pick'ems Game #29 vs. Illinois
HoosierAloha replied to djsalway's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Don't worry peeps, I'll choke in the postseason like I did in the football pick'ems! I wasn't born with the clutch gene. -
I saw that and he didn't look good. He was sick.

With a win over Nebrasketball last night, PSU moves into the top 100 RPI at 92. If they can go 2-1 to end the season beating Northwestern and Illinois at home and only losing to MSU on the road that will improve that terrible loss in (not so) Happy Valley.

Me thinks Seth doesn't understand Hoosier basketball or the IUBB fanbase...

It's absolute maddening when you think about it. He has all the athletic ability one could need to dominate on defense. Sit down in your stance, move your feet and +wingspan to disrupt your opponent and get your highlight breakaway jam. If I were scouting IU I would run Troy off a screen and get wide open looks for my shooters. I think the reason Yogi has been defending off ball more is to allow Troy to defend ball handlers to be a bit more focused. It would be interesting to see how many open threes Troy has given up compared to the rest of the team. To be fair, we gave up a ton of wide open right corner threes in the second half with Troy on the bench. Edit: I understand some don't like that Troy is constantly brought up in these discussions; however, he has the athletic ability to be completely dominating on that end and that is frustrating as a fan.

Right now, I would put Wiscy at #2 and push everyone else down. Iowa seems to be slumping at the wrong time. Maryland has all the talent needed to win big but Melo is tossing the ball all over the gym and clanking everything. pu is a solid team with only average perimeter players. I really think we could take it to them a second time with another good Troy performance and a solid 40 minute effort.
-
I would really like to get PSU in the first game to get a little revenge although PSU is putting together some good performances recently. It would be nice to get to the finals or even win it. MSU, Wiscy, and IU are playing the best ball in the B1G right now. I want this team to have all the possible success for the outgoing players and giving the younger players some experience going forward.

Jason Spriggs OT - Green Bay Packers
HoosierAloha replied to hoosierwhodey's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
Nice combine Jason. Make that money and rep your football school! -
Think it's in the coaches handbook... Crean has a talented roster and is still at IU = can't vote for him. I really can't see Beilein, Groce, Miles, Matta, and Painted vote for Crean.
-
I know they called it a thigh bruise after the game but it seemed more like an ego bruise... Troy can take this team to the next level if he is locked in. It's so frustrating to watch him wonder on defense while two frosh come in and lock in on defense.

Troy had two good overall games against Nebraksetball and pu. Bad Troy caught the bus for the trip west. He gave up at least 7 of the first 14 Illini points. It's interesting that they went into UI actually game planning to attack Troy. I can't imagine being in Crean's shoes re: Troy. He sat down in the first half and IU goes on a run. He gets injured in the first few minutes of the second half and UI gets an open 3. After he leaves IU gives up something like 6 points in 8 minutes while running pretty good offense. Was it just me or did not many people pay attention to Troy's injury? It seemed as though he knew he was coming out after turning it over...

Harrison Niego continues to add depth to IU's bench
HoosierAloha replied to hmhernan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
1 rebound, 2 steals, 0 TOs, and 2 steals from a walkon during meaningful minutes. I'll take it! -
Wow, huge jump on KemPom. AdjO - 10 to 8 AdjD - 80 to 61 Overall 18 to 15
