I wouldn't be surprised at all to see OSU win this. Iowa has collapsed down the stretch in recent weeks. Seems like the pressure of being chased has gotten to them.

O$U has had some really nice passes to Iowa for layups and dunks. 14 turnovers with about 17 minutes left in the game.

I've seen several of those this weekend. The player passes the ball, slows up and the defender falls over after being touched.

I would rather he play 35 minutes with Iowa trailing the entire game.

That's bold. I'm not sure Zona makes it. Their team doesn't look like the Zona teams of the past several years. Edit: I do agree on the Big 12 though. Didn't they flame out in the tourney last season?

They look like a completely different team than a month ago, fatigued and not connected.

Agreed, now winning the BTT would most likely add a win against a protected top 4 seed and a red hot 2 seed in MSU. That would probably be good enough for a 2 seed.

If IU wins out and makes the semis that would probably be good for a 3 seed depending on how other teams finish out. That would be a good win on the road against a protected top 4 seed, another win against a likely protected seed, and an okay neutral court win against a likely bubble team.

I'm not seeing OG getting a huge boost in FGA next season. JBJ, TB, Troy, and RoJo will all likely be ahead of him in shot attempts. I could see his shot attempts mirror Hartman/Max this season. That's not necessarily a bad thing when there will likely be a few players, JBJ/Troy, who will have quite a few more attempts than the others.

I wouldn't mind seeing him knockdown more of those elbow jumpers, especially against a zone.

The pg spot also concerns me. I hope RoJo spends the entire summer working on his handles and transitions into a solid ball handler and decision maker. If he's able to do that the frosh could be brought along a bit slower like we saw with OG and JMor. If it's not RoJo hopefully Newkirk is fully recovered and is able to run the team.

Hawaii had a pretty cool senior night last night. They do a senior "last shot" , a dunk, where each senior is given a ball by the coach for one last official shot in the Stan Sheriff Center. A 5'10" native Hawaiian walk-on had two of his teammates lift him up for his dunk. It was a pretty cool ceremony. Link
