  1. IUgradman mentioned Trayce Jackson-Davis, Colton Montgomery, Khristian Lander , Andrew Carlton, and possibly Curt Hopf attending tonight's game. I tried to quote him but the absolute strangest thing happened. Rather than these guys names coming up I got instructions for a crocheting project. WTHeck.
  2. The recruits coming tonight are in for a treat. Those guys are going to witness Hoosier passion tonight. It's amazing. I'll be there from start to finish supporting this new brand of Indiana basketbal
  3. Are you listening Romeo?
  4. But I wonder what it will take to get our B-town base to better support the program. Winning Hoosier fans want/ expect to see successful teams. We know what that looks and feels like and we don't want to settle for less. i will say that it takes me longer to get through security than in the past. I'm a season ticket holder and I've got to allow more time to get into AH. It's just how it has to be.
  5. Excellent idea. Be sure and wear your Hoosier gear.
  6. Uh.......I hope that ship is sinking?
  7. Lot of bad blood between Knight and Henson. Knight called Henson out for cheating and Henson referred to Knight as " a big bully." Coach Knight had a shouting match with Henson's wife after the game that had Nick Anderson hit the game winner against us. It was senior day and Knight made reference to our opponent breaking NCAA rules and Mrs. Henson took offense. She was escorted out.
  8. I'm certainly not writing Rob off. But it's clear that he was struggling last night. I want him to be rewarded for returning this year. I guess what I saw from him last night makes me disappointed for him. I'm not disappointed in his poor offensive performance as I know he's capable. I'm looking forward to the U of Indy game to see adjustments.
  9. Yes he did. At first he was kicking in which flattens his shot. He was bringing the ball back behind making his release coming from behind his head. I couldn't see drifting from where I sat, but he probably struggled with that.
  10. I get why Devonte earned the gold jersey. He has elevated his game. He looked really good tonight.
  11. Works for me. I'll be in the hall tonight. Can't wait to see an inbounds play that doesn't require us to chuck it deep toward the opponent's goal. That' worth a standing ovation.
  12. Only if the school can fill their gyms with enthusiastic fans that actually know who the recruits are and acknowledge them. They can try, but the Hoosier fans are hard to simulate.
  13. Visiting MSU will make TJD's commitment to Indiana even sweeter. Done losing out to Izzo after we identify potential B1G talent.
  14. Thanks for sharing, Olivia. It's not often I'm in agreement with Cal, but he has some valid points that he feels would eliminate the monetary cheating.
  15. Probably just being polite. C'mon Romeo, stay home.
  16. Hopefully, sooner rather than later..
  17. Appreciate USPShoorsier sharing Romeo's insights. Got to admit, I really didn't get any feeling from the comments that Romeo has a significant preference. Something that did stand out was the comments about expectation should Romeo decide to stay home and play for Indiana. Maybe Coach Miller was trying to set us apart from the other programs and challenge RL that the expectation for him could be greater at Indiana since everyone in this state knows his name. Stay home, Romeo. You got this.
  18. ISU just got a steal.
  19. Wow, I really thought Butter was a perfect place for him. I had the pleasure to watch him in some of his high school games. He was so smooth and had a textbook jumper. Now, does he have to sit out a year or semester? Does his eligibility start day 1 of the semester or first official day of practice? Somebody is going to get a steal.
  20. Patrick had a cancerous tumor found on his thyroid. Glad to see he has regained his health to allow him to play for his Dad.
  21. I agree with you about turning down prep school in order to stay home and allow his parents the pleasure of watching him play his senior season. But I think it's even more than the parental influence. I don't think he wanted to bail on his teammates, his school, and his community. It's a big deal for a community to produce a Mr. Basketball. It's a really big deal to make a run for a state championship. So when Romeo decided to finish his high school career in New Albany, he showed his team, school, and community that he values his being a New Albany Bulldog. (Yes, I really want this kid.)
  22. Ramsey reminds me of Zander.
  23. Parking lots around the IU Athletics campus are sold out. Please park at the shuttle lot located at 45/46 & North Curry Pike. This was in a notice sent out today. Apparently, there will be shuttle service to the stadium. Glad I've got a parking pass.
  24. Bill DeHeer scoring on Purdue. Do you guys remember him shooting his free throws underhanded?
