Only if the post you’re referencing is a transcript of what he said.Could mean “with a sore shoulder I’m glad coach gave us all the day off.” I could be wrong, but after watching him take a full on face full of Mike Watkins’s shoulder and come back with fire and guts against PSU, I’m pretty sure that begging off due to physical discomfort is NOT a problem with DeVonte. Troy is a big Tom Crean success story. FCTC stuck with him, and Troy turned into a better man and better player than many could have imagined. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

(2018) SF - Jerome Hunter Transfers To Xavier

Sure, but don't get too excited; he only had 25 in regulation. Oh wait, 23 in OT! That's a good, good, good night. -

Two of the top three current threads on the Vandy message board: "Is Coach Bryce Drew that bad?" "Our home crowd is pathetic" and...Simi Shittu's knee MRI results? Still crickets. -
I KNOW WHY WE WON...AGAIN! It’s because we seem to have found a group of players that, for now at least, consistently play hard. That, and because we gots a couple a guards that can really hit free throws, because McBob is a nasty sumbeeotch, and because Juwan Morgan is getting really good at basketball. THAT’s why. We played hard, and we played pretty darn well. A lot of open shots that didn’t go in; only two turnovers! They hit a lot of tough shots and we’re up four? I’ll take that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Potential starting 5 for next year, does Juwan GoPro?

I try to answer for Woodson (I know that's kinda rude, lol) Jerome is a top 50 recruit -a kid ranked that high typically starts as a freshman on really good teams, never mind ones that desperately need length and athleticism. Given his talent level and the other options we have at the wing/sg spot(s), he's coming into a situation that currently begs him to be "good enough." -
(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State

Will be very interesting to see how he does if/when he plays AAU. He could be Steve Nash, or he could be Austin Boucher ;) Wouldn't want to ignore him and be wrong though. -

RoJo kept it to eight TOs. Must've been in his point guard mode! -

I did not say whether I thought the Hoosiers would win or lose! Merely that I predicted the score would be 73-72. -

Let's see if we can keep it under 23 turnovers this time, eh? :) -

If I were handicapping it I would take Kansas over the field. But, there is little doubt in my mind that IU and Vandy have a chance, because as the Langfords have said, if he'd already definitively decided, he'd make the call official. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Comparing him to Victor Oladipo is nice, but not the standard that I’m hoping for, even if he’s extraordinarily successful. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

About as good as Al Durham, I suspect. NOT to compare the two; Vic is a far more explosive athlete. But like Vic, Al (IMO) has a little bit of "it" factor, and I would be shocked if he is not part of Archie's future plans for the guard rotation. -

What a read; you can't make this stuff up! Oh wait...they have already: This is Jimmy Chitwood with an 83 year old coach. Wowowowowowowow. Get the kid on campus Arch. Feels like a Hoosier to me.
