  1. Counseling can be very, very helpful. Screw the stigma; It's good to have someone to talk to in person.
  2. Not commenting on whether he'll choose IU, but this picture is more likely because Romeo or the kid next to him farted loudly than any insight on his IU experience.

  7. Yes. For instance; as Romeo sat behind the IU bench for the NU game, he was next to his potential point guard, Rob Phinisee. He is very, very well aware about the entirety of how it would be to play alongside Rob Phinsee. THEN, as the game got going, he witnessed first hand how Archie responded to his team having a mediocre start, and how that team responded. Archie has the confidence to let recruits see him up close and personal. So did FCTC, and that was NOT helpful. Romeo is doing absolute due diligence. He gets the chance to truly understand what Archie is like, and I'm guessing that is helpful.
  8. All of ^^this^^, and also sitting behind the bench and experiencing how the coaching staff (esp Archie) interacts with the team during games is important.
  9. If the season ended today? Purdue, MSU, Mich, OSU, Maryland would be my guess. That's five. Nebraska is trending up, so they'd be a potential sixth if they keep it up.
  10. For instance; Romeo attended the Northwestern game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  13. Very nice IU quotes in that article, but my favorite pro-IU quote was the one where Tim Langford said they were going to watch a game at Vandy. Where the heck do recruits sit? Behind the staff and players under the basket?!? That can’t be helpful for recruiting. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  15. This Friday, Juwan, Romeo, Darkest Hour, Mint Chip, Dawn, Art Donovan, Au, Cody and Milo, mine=very, very good, mine=wonderful, May 30, none in Fla!, none, straw please, Martha's, slow cooker, teflon. For me.

  18. Oh... I've got proof that Bryce Drew and Vandy are dirty! "Anchors Aweigh" is the fight song of the United States Naval Academy and march song of the United States Navy. It was composed in 1906 by Charles A. Zimmermann with lyrics by Alfred Hart Miles. (per wiki and numerous addt'l sources) Bing Crosby popularized and included the song in a medley on his album 101 Gang Songs (per Bing Crobsy Disc Anthology) Twice in the past six months, federal prosecutors in Maryland have cited songs in racketeering cases targeting gangs, saying the recordings “promote MS-13 and its activities.” (Washington Post, January 14, 2018) "The Shot" refers to a play by Valparaiso University's Bryce Drew that occurred in the first round of the 1998 NCAA Tournament. The play came in Valpo's game against the University of Mississippi Rebels at The Myriad in Oklahoma City on M(arch) 13, 1998, and gave the #13 seed Crusaders a 70–69 victory over #4 seed Ole Miss. The game was part of a Valparaiso Cinderella run in the tournament that ended in the Sweet Sixteen when the Crusaders lost to Rhode Island. “To any member of MS-13 listening, I have a message for you: We will find you. We will arrest you. We will jail you. We will throw you the hell out of the country,” (Donald Trump's "Tweeterfeeder-o-rama", December 14, 2017) Obvious conclusion? Bryce Drew is a dangerous criminal, and Vandy is likely a front for MS-13. So there.

  21. To me? The Langfords seem like very smart, motivated people. If that much is true, a smart family would easily grasp the concept that playing for the right coach who can form the competitive mindset and turn a player into the maximized potential competitive and skill level NBA superstar is far more financially valuable than any hundred thousand dollar payment that a dirty coach and shoe company could put together.
