Nothing official yet on Stephen Daley but the chatter is getting more pessimistic. Could be really bad news about the most impactful, disruptive guy on the entire defense.

The autocorrect is purposed by your loyal and true mods to make words’ meanings more accurate. And Paul F!nebaum is not as “correct” as Paul BaldTrollDumb@$$.

It’s funny because Enright has arguably been our most consistently successful player—he always brings an intensity that others don’t always have. But adding Dorn and/or Sisley to the lineup instead of Enright or Conerway solves the size issue and improves shooting. The guy that really deserves to be dropped from the starting five is Bailey. Anyone for a starting five of Conerway, Lamar, Dorn, Sisley, and Tucker? Five mid-ish size guys. Tucker gives up four inches but doesn’t have to guard someone too quick for him. And our four best shooters play together.

It was a Peegs post and then they deleted the thread. Still completely unconfirmed. Would be pretty terrible— other than Mendoza and Coogan, DE is the position with the biggest drop off between the starters and the next man up. And when a defensive lives by disrupting, losing your single most disruptive player would be no bueno.

Please say he’s Coen Carr-ish. PLEASE SAY IT!! -
Holy ****, his brother Andrew Marsh is also top 150 overall recruit and a strong-@$$ slot guy. Would Nick join him? Not at Andrew's school - he plays for the passing game disaster that is Michigan! Andrew just finished a very, very good freshman year, and Nick is only a sophomore. Nick Marsh, Andrew Marsh, Becker, and Bond/Chandler would be an amazing WR room. And that's if Coop goes pro - he has another year of eligibility left.

I doubt the committee will do the right thing, but my five? Mendoza Fisher Ponds Carter Smith Stephen Daley Or, if they don't want to make it the five that deserve it most, the committee should go with college football's most-interesting: Mendoza OSU's Fielding, he of the 27 yard hooked FG Pavia's mother The ND bowl game MVP Purdue's Browne, for my absolute favorite non-IUFB play of the season, against Rutger:

Status on our missing players, please.

Reed Bailey was missing in plain sight again against both Minnesota and Louisville. He never was supposed to be a low post scorer; the problem is that he's apparently also not a stretch big scorer. -
One thing is for sure; if we're playing a truly top tier offense it isn't in our quarterfinal against Oklahoma or Bama. Then the semifinal could be against one of the few top tier offenses; Oregon, but they'll be a slight underdog to a just okay TTech offense. For the natty game if we're so blessed? Either Georgia, OSU, A&M, or Ole Miss could be considered offensive top teams. BTW, based on the total of two TDs we gave up in eight quarters against OSU and Oregon's offenses, I'm guessing we'll be more than okay. :)

Always gonna be lots of trolling/baiting posts on X or Facebook. For me they are not worth the time it took to read them. -
Yes. He’s an anchor of the O line going forward.

Geez as long as he’s better than Bailey. -
Allows us to portal poach a couple selected ND players that much earlier. Hey Coogan… who from that non-playoff team wants to play at a higher level?

PortalPat Coogan knew what was up.
