  1. Go Hoosiers. My school; my team. No matter what...completely.   Win. Win. Win.
  2. Ahhh...no! mdn is a jackass, it's his post that I appreciated.
  3. Bravo. CTC is far from the perfect coach, but I prefer sanity. Spot on post.
  4. Very good.
  5. With Juwan Morgan out, tension high, and the ultimate crumbly cupcake in town, I needs me some Middle School Bob minutes tonight to provide levity.
  6. Groce may have bought himself another year with their failure able to be attributed to unreal injury issues.
  7. Patty Williams is batshirt crazy.
  8.   Nah. We just played like crap.   PS: Chicago State by two with 58 seconds left. Wowza.
  9. We played mindlessly tonight, but Illinois just looks like they plain old aren't trying very hard.

  11.    Apparently, or Pap wouldn't be noting him!  ;)
  12.   And Purdoo too.   I really, really, truly hope that IU and Purdoodoo roll the rest of the B1G, that the Burlers come into Btown as our primary competition, that we curbstomp them on our way to the B1G title, and that we steamroll BigBlew in the tourney.   I also hope to grow to 6'5", for my hair and good judgment to return, and for rainbows and good beer to flow from my orafices! :)
  13. Watched UK Wright State for the last five minutes, saw JT Yoho from Greene County, Indiana stick two or three shots right down the gullet of Jamal Murray. Knew JT's daddy...really good people.   Get 'em JT!
  14. Thomas Bryant might also wear down because of the apparently extraordinary effort that Thomas Bryant puts into everything he does, including practice. The coaching staff needs to do a good job of imposing restrictions on his practice time, because he will go all out whenever they let him.
  15. Correction...Buckley will have him shooting better.
  16. Zeisloft is WAAAAY better than Abell Hartman is WAAAAAY, WAAAAAY better than Etherington. Senior Yogi is WAAAY, WAAAAY, WAAAAY better than Freshman Yogi.   And CWat is quite a bit better than Max.
  17. Better yet...kidnap Maryland's defensive coordinator, replace him with Doug Mallory, and we'll score 100!
  18. A real part of the formula is when you add experience level.    For instance, does a mid-4 star recruit like Troy or Rojo equate to a freshman five star recruit?   If it's a top five - five star like Okafor or Towns, no they don't. But if it's a top 20 five star recruit? Usually a player (at least per the empirical evidence at IU) will play abou to the level of a player about 10-15 spots above them with each extra year gained.   That equates to Troy, who was in the 60s, playing like a five star freshman as a junior, and Rojo playing like a low five star/high four star freshman.   DeRon Davis and Bruce Brown in the 30s? Hot damn, that makes for two really, really good sophomores.
  19.   Larranega's kids are gonna beat MSU with relative ease.
  20.   We had a friend who was a local with a car.  You HAVE to have a car to see the "good stuff".   The city is nice and easy, but it's not what makes the country extraordinary.
  21.   Was in Reykjavik about ten years ago.   Was there in late May and got about 23 hours of daylight; I'm guessing in February you might only get about eight!   One of my absolute favorite places I've ever visited. Easy to use English (not that it makes a place better for us), food is not especially interesting, the city is manageable, clean and scenic, but not especially memorable...   But the outdoor excursions are quite simply the best of the best of the best. From the Blue Lagoon, to the random roadside waterfalls, to the geysers to the icebergs...holy crap. The place is astounding.
  22.   Coach Danny Fisher is a fine mentor for anyone's son.
  23.   There's a lot of lonely dope dealers in Palm Beach in August, but the summer early bird specials are tremendous.
  24.   Sure, but a defensive coordinator will also be paid more if he is planning blitz schemes and two deep coverages in Tribeca or Palm Beach.
  25.   On the bright side, if Knorr resorted to dealing crack, he would earn about 30% more than if he:   http://www.indeed.com/salary?q1=saving+the+world&l1=
