  1. I'm just wishing we'll have Feeney.
  2. Go Hoosiers.
  3. "We" are Indiana Hoosiers and their fans on an Indiana basketball message board, and "we" are fans of a team that has a legitimate chance to win a national championship this year. If by "we are just getting started" you mean "with Duke over-hype", then I agree. But, the solution to that is...don't participate in Duke over-hype on this board. They are merely one of many teams that can go far this year. (PS: Duke's best player has repeatedly tried to trip opposing players, and that's kinda pathetic.)
  4. He ain't gonna be a '4' at 7'2". Perimeter ability at that size and still zero stars on the 247 composite? That sounds like a big guy that refuses to go to the rim. I suppose the zero stars could be because he hasn't been in the US very long, though. Averaged 3.0 ppg and 2.5 rpg in a few contests with Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas last high school season. Appeared to have a few low-end power conference interests; Colorado pulled their interest when they beat Purdoodoo for Evan Battey last week. To say that he is a "project big" would be an understatement. To say that he is closer to Jeremiah April than Haas or Hammons coming out of high school would be far more accurate.
  5. Whenever I hear a coach talking about making things "simpler", I start to worry about that player. I wouldn't worry yet. CTC is accurately identifying his past problems. He hasn't been cleared to play since then, so I think he is saying that the fixes for them are only "hopes" until we see them implemented on the court.
  6. Some head scratchers early, and big success in the tourney. 10-3 12-6 Minimum Final 4
  7. You guys realize that would include OG and Victor.
  8. Yes! This is why I'm a fan: Unusual skill set (6'10" with a plus handle and range) and a great kid. You can build strength, but ya can't build height in a young player. ITH article says coach Chuck M was watching him all summer very quietly so that no one would see our interest and join the hunt. I like that a lot too.
  9. Yessssssirrrreeeee. Get the protein shakes and Lionel Anderson on standby.
  10. The Big Handsome Knows: Cody Zeller ✔ @CodyZeller Who says Indiana is a basketball school?! What a game!!! #IUFB 36m
  11. And they keep trying to find basketball and coaching reasons why recruits don't want any part of them. When, in reality, it comes down to less attractive women and a butt ugly campus. It's hard to fix ugly!
  12. Is this a poll to see if we should conduct polls? If so, I vote "yes"
  13. Max? No. Ryanjeffburtonhoward? Sure!
  14. Top 100 big man Xavier Tillman commits to "THE UNIVERSITY OF NOT-PURDUE", also known as...Michigan State. G_d bless it, Purdoodoo is really, really running out of viable options for 2017.
  15. Zach "Ryanjeffburtonhoward" McRoberts to the rescue!! Yes Zach, from now on, your Delta House nickname will be "Ryanjeffburtonhoward"
  16. Kinda like a car salesman who starts with "This is our best offer" and then calls you back the next day to see if free rust-proofing would bring you back to the showroom! lol
  17. He ain't going to Ole Miss. No way, no how. I could see him staying home for Temple, or even loving Chicago, Collins, and Northwestern. But Lafayette, St. Joes, or Ole Miss? No sir. If I had a crystal ball, I'd guess...Hoosier.
  18. Per Alex McCarthy: Jonathan Michels, Moore's AAU coach who confirmed Moore's IU visit, said the visit to Ole Miss went moderately well. "He liked it," Michels said. "Didn't knock his socks off, but he did like it." Moore left for Bloomington at 8 a.m., and should be on campus, Michels said. Earlier this month, Michels has said that Moore will likely be able to tell on his visit which school fits him best, and might make a decision without taking all of his officials. He is set to take an official to Northwestern next weekend as well. "He wants to be done before the high school season," Michels said earlier this month, "and with Clifton, he’s such a comfort-level guy. If he went to Ole Miss and was like, ‘This is it,’ he could commit. If he visited Indiana and went, ‘This is it,’ he could commit. I think for him, it’s just, ‘I have to feel like it’s the right place for me.’ It’s got to be a fit. He’s not necessarily concerned about it always being the biggest school in the world. It’s got to be a place where he’s going to fit there."
  19. GREAT local interview of Clifton Moore about his final six post-open gym. The interviewer is VERY pro-IU. A well-spoken, classy kid, is young Mr. Moore:
