  1. No way! Wouldn't if I could: Need to have minutes as the carrot for Devonte, Freddie, and CuJo.
  2. I don't know the man personally, but methinks that Tim Miles is... A jerk: BREAKING: Nebraska's Andrew White has requested his release and intends to be a grad transfer, source told @CBSSports. Immediately eligible.
  3. A "must watch" piece on Indy tv: Assembly Hall construction GB Packers Coach Mike McCarthy interviewed about his kid at CTC's bball camp AND...most importantly...1st practice impressions of CuJo, Devonte, and GrantG! Really good stuff: enjoy!
  4. My wife called about an IU football commit? I'm confused.
  5. Nothing that a two game losing streak can't cure! ;)
  6. Sorry! I'm assuming that "J Smith" is Justin Smith from Stevenson hs.
  7. I believe we are legitimately in the mix for Waters too.
  8. Wow. 5 out of 13 are legit IUBB recruits.
  9. Whoopsies! WAKE UP DEREK!!!!! http://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/boone-county/watch-uk-basketball-player-passed-out-drunk
  10. Buying "Liger Chow", no doubt.

  12. Tijan. Discuss.
  13. Much like Yogi last year, Thomas Bryant did not come back merely to improve his draft stock, he came back to accomplish what he came to IU for; to win. We have been clamoring for leaders at IUBB that are not satisfied with their season if it brings any result other than a national championship. Thomas Bryant feels that way...in a big way. His teammates will need to buy in or get out of his way. With leaders like Thomas, they will buy in.
  14. The chances of that lineup occurring will be completely dependent on: JBj's health, and... How good DeRon Davis looks against Collin and Juwan in practice.
  15. Thought this might merit its own thread. The difference between our potential and the potential of the one-and-done factories is predicated on "talent + leadership" > talent. Worked for Villanova last year, and when we succeed it'll be a major factor why. With that having been said, this year's IUBB team leaders will be: 1) Thomas Bryant 2) Collin Hartman --------------------------------------------------- 3) RoJo 4) Josh Newkirk 5) Juwan Morgan At least, that's my take on it
  16. FWIW; IUBB posted more 1st week workout pics today. Among them? JBj doing agility drills in the sand, and JBj clean and jerk with 135 lbs. Encouraging.
  17. All true on measurements, but Hartman is a better basketball player. If measurements and hs rankings were determinative, Perea would be in the NBA; instead he'll be backing up Peter Jurkin at E. Tennessee State.
  18. Three knee surgeries is certainly cause for concern, though there are plenty of people who come back healthy after similar issues (i.e; Mo Creek at George Washington U.) Not fully participating six months after ACL surgery is completely normal. After nine months he should be good to go if all goes well.
  19. True if he's healthy and practicing in full. CTC could try to rationalize JBj coming off the bench if he's not fully recovered at the start of the season.
