  1. I thought that too. Even weirder since Gameday was in Indy.
  2. It's all good! Building a program and a fan base step by step. We'll get there!!   Go Hoosiers!
  3. He'll do well there. That's his area, tons of recruiting ties. Will be much easy to get the Texas boys to stay close to home than come to Indiana. He'll have a high scoring offense quickly.
  4. I agree with this. But his tenacity is what has become the problem. I'm absolutely convinced he believes his magically-morphing man to man/2-3 zone/trap/ crap there's another layup defense will actually work if they just ran it properly.   He's trying to write a masters thesis on thermodynamic entropy without passing Physics 101 first.
  5. We haven't played there yet. But when we do, they sell beer there.   I was at MS the last time Nebraska came to town, it was ugly, jayboob ugly. Will be much better this go around. And yes, they will come by the bus loads, lean years or not. Good folk though.
  6. ^^^^ PU produces a ton of astronauts because if you spent 4 years looking at those coeds, you'd look for other life forms as well.
  7. Fort Collins and the CSU campus is beautiful ( not Btown beautiful, but still very nice). I'd take a free visit there any day. I believe he's had that visit scheduled for a few weeks now. Still think we're in pretty good shape.
  8. I would love to drop a 50 burger on the u in the Bronx.
  9. Whoa whoa whoa. We love ya brother and put up with the Dukie stuff, but you can't drag the whole dang conference along with 'em ;)
  10. Right on. The move to D was out of necessity, but he did perform adequately, all things considered. Hale hasn't been mentioned here either. Fact is we have a TON of receiving talent, so it wouldn't surprise me if one or two of these guys flip to D. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Hale got a look at QB if things don't shake out.   That said, if Towles wants to come compete for a job here, he can decontaminate himself and come on up
  11. McCullough played for CKW at Miami, but I fear that loyalty is near the end. He was all but out the door to ND last year before the Irish convinced alum Autry Denson to come back. He'll be hard to keep, others will come calling.   Frey has had several offers but is  good friends with CKW. Everybody has a price tho. Really hope we throw some $$ his way.   Fairly confident we can keep Johns with a well deserved pay bump.   I'm willing to give Knorr one more season to prove himself, our secondary should be markedly improved next season. But if he took a gig elsewhere, I won't lose any sleep.
  12. I seriously doubt Zander starts for us next year. I've heard a lot of positives about King and I think we are in pretty good shape to land Lagow, I think our competition is UNLV and Colorado St. Extending CKWs contract before the Dec 15th signing period would go a long way towards landing him imo. If we can get him inked then he will be eligible for spring practice.   The 15 extra bowl practices will be a huge benefit to King. He should get some reps with the receivers he'll be throwing to next year. I love Zanders grit, but he should never be more than a capable fill-in. If he progresses as much this off-season as he did last, adds a few more pounds, he could easily be just that. Could possibly run some wildcat type packages even.   Wilson is not opposed to running QBs, he adapts to his personnel. He had running QBs at Miami,OH and N'western and recruited Rhett Bomar at OU. After Bomar ran afoul of  NCAA rules, Wilson plugged in a three-star guy named Bradford and two years later had the highest scoring offense in NCAA history.   Nobody realizes how bad last years QB situation played out more than Wilson. I would be surprised if we see a repeat in the near future.
  13. Georgia looking, Richt got canned. Looks like Ekeler is on the move again.
  14. I have never been to the new Yankee Stadium, would be kinda cool to catch an IUFB game there.   Of course, Ive never been to Levis Stadium either, so mark me down for some California dreamin'
  15. Best 4 hours I've ever spent in W. Laffy. This team is really easy to like, glad for Suds, Spriggs, Mangieri, Reed, Shaw and all the other seniors. They deserve a bowl game. PUke band getting pissing about us celebrating on their field hahaha. Suck it.   One more! Onward!
  16. Hoosiers-  45   POTFB- 28   Consecutive Buckets- 3   Bowl bids- 1
  17. POTFB   Got all my shots, getting ready to head down to W. Laffy.   POTFB
  18. It's not about a certain coach yet, count your blessings.
