Indiana did what they did for 3 decades cause there wasn't national recruiting unless you were UCLA. Times have changed. The phone was a hell of an invention, but evolved over time. Out of all of "local" talent since Crean got here only 3 have not been disappointing. Cody, Jordy, and Yogi. If you don't agree with me, you're never going to and I don't need to explain or sell it any more than I have; but I think you're hoping. I don't think you put any weight to culture, DNA, or expectations at Indiana. Your prerogative and I'm not arguing with you. I just don't believe your position is supported with anything concrete and I think mine is. If anyone said the paragraph above to you GC you would be the first one to say everyone is out to get you... Yet you don't see why people act that way towards you? It's everyone else? There aren't words that can describe going into that place walking by the trophies. The atmosphere... Just take that in cause you won't forget it.

Lol he was not a low 4 or high 3 star. His composite put him at 46th overall. Which is a very high 4 since 3 star doesn't start until after 100 in most services. ESPN had him at 39. 50 by Rivals. 47 by Scout. So that is not close to a low 4 star.

I would take a Junior Will Sheehey athleticism over a Frosh OG. OG is rangy and will be more athletic, but Will was very athletic.

Yep that is what I have been wanting for a while is a balanced recruiting stretch that accounts for depth. Not upside lottery tickets. You can get that when you have depth.

  Those are crazy numbers, because typically those are good numbers to show who has the better CHANCE to be there at the end.  If we can improve our defense even more (although if we didn't play that bad at the beginning of the year we might already be in the top 30) we should have a solid shot to make some noise.

Lol, only a matter of time before those threads start up.  I remember on the old Scout boards they had those right after UNC won their titles. Quite a few Duke fans thought the game and recruiting had passed him by.  Kind of funny how some jump the gun.  That's why fans don't make the decisions.

Dukie, what is going on with your team?  There is just no intensity on that team.  I feel like they have been that way the last few times I watched them play.  Looks like we are headed in different directions since we played.  

If you would have told me we could win ugly at the start of the year I would have laughed at you.  I will take it.  5-0 with 3 on the road to the 3 worst teams.  First year we could say that in a while to either.  

I did the same.  It's like the Izzo rule in the tournament.  Its a given.  We never cover on the road.  Get the W and move on.
