There is plenty of alum coming from in state. Fort Wayne you are there in 3 hours. Plenty of time for a 7 o'clock game. Indy and Evansville are obviously closer. Doubt too many people will come from further than Fort Wayne.

Well most sports are more what have you done for me lately. Lately? He is on an 11 game winning streak. Tram is improving despite his history. I have yet to hear anyone mention during a press conference of a firing results from 15 years ago at a different school mean anything. I highly doubt as of today Glass is thinking Crean's seat is warm let alone hot. A month from now? Sure it could get real hot in a hurry. I doubt people will be as patient with him if we crap the bed down the stretch. As of this point there is plenty to be optimistic about. Whether or not people want to see that is on them. There is plenty to dislike but I have never seen coached team make the changes and grow the way his team has over the last month. Usually his teams have been the best they are going to be in November. Not this year. I am excited to see it play out either way.

Exactly. We have made a very healthy jump since the Wisconsin game. It's not easy to jump from 100+ to 50ish during conference. Your cupcakes typically inflate rankings and jumping 30 spots in 10 games isn't unheard of but still tough. We jumped 50+ spots in 5-7 against tougher competition than in pre conference.

I would like to see what kind of draw we get before I guess where we will go. We have the team to make a run but will struggle against grinding teams. IMO

The teams we have played are not bad outside of Rutgers. Morehead St is bad. We are just beating teams we should. That's all I can ask.

I should add I don't need him to overachieve. That means expectations are low. I want him to put us in a position to make noise in the tournament. So far he is off to a good start. Let's see if it keeps up.

I would actually disagree with the bolded.  I am not a fan of the offense at times, but during this winning streak we have went inside far more.  Letting TB or Max make decisions instead of guards dribbling, its guards cutting.  Beyond that, like last night we had people running the baseline against the zone.  Crean has never done that.  He has never tried working behind the zone.  IMO, he is putting wrinkles in his offense to fit the players we have.  The more he gets Troy into the lane without having him dribble the better.  The more he gets the ball on the block for TB (which he rarely did for Zeller), the better.  That opens our shooters. 

I don't think beating top teams has been an issue either as over the last 5 years we have been a top 5 team against top 10 teams in wins. It's the late season collapse IMO. This team just feels different. The argument for this team has continually shifted since the Notre Dame game. First it was we will start 2-7. Then 5-2. Then we aren't playing anyone. Let's both hope they keep doing what they are doing.
