  1. Thanks. I don’t keep up with recruiting like I used to, so wasn’t sure.
  2. I won’t be able to watch the game today, but hope the boys can take care of busy at home against Turdue.
  3. That’s very possible, but I just have some hesitations about it coming to fruition. I know NIL has changed the game, but it can also only get you so far. Would we still lose out on Harrelson and Mullins if Cronin is at the helm…? I know it’s a lot of what ifs, but I feel like Cronin is a solid back up plan to the back up plan, to that back up plan. Here’s the thing. I wouldn’t be mad or upset with Cronin, I think he would do good here, I just think there are better options that we need to go through first.
  4. With Cronin, he’s not a bad option, but he limits the ceiling this program can take IMO. We will consistently make the tournament, which is a huge improvement over where we are at now, but won’t have a lot of success in it. My worry with Cronin is we will be with him, most likely, for the next 15ish years and will have a couple Sweet 16s. Not enough to get him fired, so it all just depends on what Dolson wants and who is willing to take the job.
  5. And 5 inches is HUGE…… ;)
  6. If it’s Brownell then IU is completely content with being a barely mediocre program. I just can’t buy into that if Dolson truly loves this program and wants what is best. It’s completely obvious that Brownell is not even a top 20 candidate, and no way it gets down that far.
  7. I think I’ve got it all figured out. Pearl was rumored to be in contention but Dolson was shot down. Dolson is rumored to have his guy, and a lot has come out (rumors) about other candidates so it doesn’t appear to be Pearl. Figured it out, you’re welcome :)
  8. If it’s Brownell then I think we can fully state this program has no desire to have a good basketball program. I wouldn’t be a fan of Cronin but at least we would be in the NCAA Tournament the majority of the time. I have faith in Dolson, but how things have went the last 25 years, I’m just cautious in how all this will play out.
  9. Appreciate it and completely agree with what you said lol. However, I would also add “I’m going to the bathroom” and lock myself in their for 30 mins :)
  10. Oh for sure. It’s gonna a long 3-4 weeks coming up lol. I’m already exhausted from the coaching search, but it could also be the lack of sleep from having our 3rd kiddo a few months ago.
  11. My dad and I talk IU hoops fairly often, and he asked me who I thought and I told him May. I think he’s the most possible and it seems like IU could have had him last year, but our good ole Quinn squashed it. My money is on May.
  12. And we Groanin about Cronin.
  13. Last thing we need is for another coach to come in and tell us we aren’t true fans…..
  14. Love history. Was planning to be a history teacher, so took a lot of amazing courses in college. Besides US history, Latin American history was my 2nd. Loved learning about how Mexico and South America was settled, along with the history that came before and after.
  15. Dang, I didn’t even think of that. I definitely will next time, would have been great to see you! The trip back wasn’t a pleasant one, started having issues a couple hours before getting to Columbus and almost had to go to the ER. Wasn’t fun at all.
  16. It was good. Definitely something we would buy again. Has a little bit of an after taste to it, but not a bad way. Just some finishing notes to it.
  17. Been quite some time since I posted in here. A few places I’ve visited over the last 3-4 years: - Wife and I went on a western Caribbean cruise with another couple. Did the Royal Caribbean line that was 5 nights, and did two excursions in Cozumel and Puerto Costa Maya. Absolutely loved it, and wouldn’t mind doing another cruise. - Did a family vacation (with the same couple for the cruise but we all took our kiddos) to Navarre Beach in Florida. Probably will be my go to spot for future Florida vacations. Loved the area and the beach. - Family drove up to Buffalo, NY from our home in St. Louis. Stopped in Columbus, OH on our way there and back to do some kids activities. Trip to Buffalo was to see some good friends of ours. Did the ferry at Niagara Falls, Buffalo Zoo, and a few other things. On our way home, we stayed for a few days with our families who live on the Illinois side of Evansville, and took the kiddos to Holiday World for their first time.
  18. We try to do a cabin in the mountains if we can, but we are just happy to go when we can make it down there. We are trying a new type of Black Rifle Coffee tomorrow, their Coffee or Die Roast. See how it is.
  19. He would and go all Pitino, taking players to endless trips to the strip club!
  20. Why hasn’t Doug Gottlieb been discussed more? Just think what he could do with our NIL!
  21. While I love Keanu Reaves, the chosen one is Anakin Skywalker. Or Brad Stevens :)
  22. Told you not to post false information ;) On a serious note, did you bring me back the 5 mail order brides I asked for?
  23. Lol, nicely done! That will go down as one of the worst quotes in IU basketball history imo. Calling the majority of the fan base not true fans because we don’t like less than mediocre results and coaching.
  24. The whole “fans are the problem” argument is laughable and a cop-out. I will die on this mountain because if fans are a problem, then UK, UNC, Duke, Kansas, UCONN, and a few others would be in the same situation as we are. It all lies at the administrations feet for bad hires, or coaches just not adapting to the evolution of the game. Woodson was an awful hire, and the fans have nothing to do with that failure. Archie was a failure but was not a terrible hire. The failures of of the last two coaches have nothing to do with the fans. It’s laughable to suggest fans are the problem.
