  1. That is such a true statement Nips lol. Never thought of it that way but very accurate. Need the MJ crying meme over Izzo.
  2. Crazy how may open 3’s both teams missed, along with the countless 5ft-in shots IU misses.
  3. It’s like he’s finally making changes after he’s out the door. No clue why he wouldn’t change it when it was very obvious that it needed to be, but he refused to do it.
  4. Don’t understand going to Reneau at the end when Ballo has been the best scoring option, but oh well. Can’t believe IU is up by 3 at the half with how the majority of the game has gone. Game is there for the taking, but IU has lost too many of these types of games. Hope they can pull it together and get the W. I still stand on this mountain that Izzo is a top 5 most annoying coach.
  5. For as bad as IU has played they are right in it. Several missed free throws and wide open 3’s. Just gotta hope MSU can’t figure out the zone.
  6. Major difference in how each team plays. MSU knows how to attack and play basketball. IU going through the motions that’s easy to guard.
  7. Mgbako out there giving up offensive rebounds like it’s what he’s supposed to do. Baaaaad.
  8. We are so weak. MSU is going to whoop us if this play continues. MSU players playing and rebounding with purpose, IU….. not so much.
  9. And you will always hold a special place in my heart Tiny ;)
  10. So there was Milehi and GoColts, but mentioning those two in a sentence may start a war. Rest In Peace Mile, but there was so bad blood between those two. Not good at all. Also remember CraigHoops, passionate IU fan from Hawaii who passed a while back as well. One of the first posters to welcome me to Scout and stayed in touch for quite some time. What feels weird is reminiscing since the Davis era, and I’m only 38 lol.
  11. That’s a great question. I was skeptical but you just never know. I will go on record it costs us our 6th title, because why not?! :)
  12. They were epic! lol. Always made for a good time because you never knew when, but they came from all over the forum!
  13. This goes back, but anyone remember governmentcheese? He kept us mods on HIGH alert with his late night drunken posts. They were absolutely hilarious and made no sense, but they made us earn our zero dollar paycheck.
  14. @bronkonagurski is still around. Still waiting for our drunken parking lot brawl, but he keeps chickening out. He started it but keeps ducking me!
  15. And your life has never been better because of it!!!
  16. Well, where to start?! lol. I first joined ESPN and Peegs during the Davis era under jaybob62863. Was never a fan of Peegs but posted on ESPN for a little bit until I found Scout. Loved it there and became a Mod with Milehi (r.i.p.) under John Decker. When he left, the person in charge just wasn’t the best to deal with so Milehi, ColonialCrester (r.i.p.), and I got together and created the original HoosierSportsNation with @Naturalhoosier and @johnsoniu - if I’m missing anyone I apologize!! I will never forget with Natty because during the process a few names were floated around that were only basketball related, and he wanted it to include all sports. It became thee place for posters and we grew like crazy. Unfortunately due to the growth, it got hard for Colonial to keep footing the bill for, and when 247 came calling, we decided to join them so the cost was on them. It was okay but just never felt like home, and it was hard to get things done with 247 running the show. After some time, I decided to leave and came to BtownBanners to help take the board over with Natty and a few others. Was going great for the longest time. For a few reasons, I announced I was leaving the board. When I did that, Jerrod Morris from Assembly Call reached out for me to take over their boards, so I brought several with me to run it. Jerrod was awesome, but that current message board wasn’t up to par with others and it was a struggle to keep posters. After some time, I had just got extremely busy and unable to give them enough of my time that was needed so I stepped away. It was from that point that I really took a break from the boards, which I’ve never really gotten back into until now. It’s been an awesome ride and will continue to be. Made some friends throughout the years, especially Natty. Have had the pleasure of meeting a few of you in person, like @HoosierReb01, Arlington, and a few others. Hope to meet others in the future if we do any meetups and such. The Mods here definitely do an awesome job, major hat tip to them for making this the premier place for discussing IU sports. End of novel!
  17. Just be a lot nicer to women…… *ducks and runs after sparking another Beard debate* :)
  18. That’s good to know. I love vacationing in Pigeon Forge, we enjoy hiking in the Smokey’s. Will out that on my list. If you drink, Old Forge Distillery behind the Old Mill restaurant, they have a coffee moonshine that is sooooo good. I brought back essentially a case with me lol.
  19. My wife and I have become big Black Rifle Coffee fans. We get the Mad Scientist brand. I typically stick to a medium roast, but can drink dark, Columbia, etc. Also like getting from the store is the Dunkin’ Donuts medium roast. Random but I named my 1st/2nd grade basketball team the Dunkin’ Donuts. Graphic is a donut dunking lol. Kids loved the name.
  20. So this happened to our friend’s 2nd grader (our oldest is in 2nd grade too). In class, they get a chance to pick a star student of the month. Our friend’s son got to read who they picked and why, and it was a girl. At the end of their reasoning, he included that he picked her because she’s sexy. Would have loved to have been a fly in the wall in that room lol. Bet the kids and teacher got a nice laugh.
