I agree with that. IU fans can be disappointed, but it’s in everyone’s best interest to support the new coach. Everyone deserves a chance if they get the job, regardless of opinions.

If it is DeVries, wish him best of luck and he has my full support. If he can turn around WVU with limited resources (I believe that’s the case), then I think he will do well here. Don’t know why, but have a good gut feeling about him if he’s the coach. Didn’t have that with Archie and Woody.

Shooting my shot….. Pearl was rumored to be a yes last year until Buckner said no. If that’s true and it’s being said Dolson has his guy and it’s someone no one is talking about, then I’m calling it, Bruce Pearl. I have no inside info and having fun, but why not put in my guess.

We gonna fight? lol, jk. I definitely don’t want Brownell and I don’t think a tournament run helps his overall case as a potential IU coach. I think his coaching record speaks for itself, that his recent run isn’t sustainable.

I didn’t say it was, just posing a question to give people something to talk about instead of going after one another.

I’ve been vocal about not wanting Brownell, as have most, but if he makes at least the Sweet16 this year, doesn’t that soften your stance on him a little or won’t change? Piggyback, if he makes an Elite 8 or Final 4, does that help?

Hopefully our Hoosiers make the dance! The dance is always a little sad when our Hoosiers don’t make it, even with the last 8-9 years. Either way, we become one day closer to getting our new coach. Will support whoever it is and give them a chance, while critiquing it depending on who it is lol.

I live over just west of Eureka/Six Flags. Got lucky, tornado went through a couple towns just west of us.

I have no inside info, but he’s someone I could understand taking a chance on. Not at the top, but one at the mid-major level that I like.

Figured it all out through the message board rumors: - IU went hard after Stevens and eventually got told no. - IU has stayed in contact with Stevens to create a successful “front office” like the Celtics have and how they built a successful team. - IU will hire a hot up and comer in McCollum. - The Turgeon smoke is because they are bringing him in to be the GM to help McCollum adjust to the game, and so DMV doesn’t have to get a tattoo of Turgeon riding a turdgeon. You are all welcome!

I go to my kiddo’s 2nd grade music program and I have to read freaking 40 pages. Dang what a night on here lol. Here’s my thing, if it’s McCollum, I think we truly need to get behind him to give our full support. Not saying we have to be blinded and not voice our concerns, but we need to be supportive. He’s not in my top 5 of candidates that I want, but I believe he has a lot of potential. Let’s just try not to get all caught up in potential rumors until more stuff starts to come out. Don’t ruin your weekend when we won’t know anything until early next week most likely.

Not surprising but very disappointing when this game could have been had, but each time IU made a run, they would stop doing what worked. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team this bad at sustaining momentum. Glad this era is almost over!

I don’t think he’s truly this bad, I think it’s the system he’s in is awful for him. Not saying he’s all conference in the B1G, but I think he has a lot more talent that what he’s showcasing.

Well, we are seeing what this team has been all season. Other teams making tough plays while IU makes terrible plays. Gonna be hard to get out of this whole. 6-8 easy points missed in the last several IU possessions. Can’t have that.
