Auburn --
Faster than normal pace, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Don't shoot the particularly well.  Shoot it often enough from distance but not well.  They hit the offensive boards well and play excellent defense.  Get to the line a lot and don't foul very much.  
Employ a 10 man rotation with all ten getting between 15 and 24 minutes.  Johni Broome is their go to guy and is averaging 18.3 ppg in just 23.6 minutes.  He's 6'10" and is in his second year at Auburn after transferring from Morehead State.  Has started shooting perimeter shots at Auburn but has been completely ineffective in that aspect.  If he wants to shoot threes, let him.  He also struggles at the line, so if we have a backup big guarding him need to be physical and not worry about fouls.  Great rebounder.  After him, scoring is very spread out with Holloway (10.6 points) being the only other double figure scorer.  Next 5 guys get 6 to 8 points per game.
Similar size (maybe a little smaller) to Indiana.  Five guys getting the most minutes are 6'1", 6'4", 6'7", 6'8", and 6'10".

That was awesome. He would know first hand being the coach at USI in the 90s! Guy I coached basketball with played on Pearl's two teams that he took to the National Championship game in '94 (runner-up) and '95 (Won it all). He still talks to Pearl quite a bit. Pearl will even invite him to different road games from time to time. Say what you want about him but I am sure a lot of coaches would big time their former players at the smaller schools. Not Pearl. He is always there for his players. I always enjoyed hearing stories about Pearl. Always talked about how he preached that practices have to be harder than the actual game. Knowing Pearl, guy I coached with played EVERY kid on the team...even too much at times. But, that's what he was taught at USI. You are going to be so tired from the way we play that you are going to have to use the bench. Obviously tomorrow I hope Auburn loses by 100, but the other days of the year I root for them.

Don't know if there is an Auburn game thread yet where this would probably fit better, but I enjoyed this interview with Kaleb Banks for a variety of reasons lol. Seems like a good young man with his head on straight, haven't heard him talk at length before this clip... and very promising player as a sophomore. I really hope we get to continue watching him grow here! SIAP.

Mack Mgbako could be one hell of a stretch four next year. I'd imagine he'll declare and get feedback, but without more foot speed I'd say he's at least 50/50 for a second year. He comes from an excellent, engaged parents house so that's a plus for staying too. 
A team that featured Queen, Mgbako, Reneau, McNeeley, and Banks from 3-5 would be truly loaded even after Ware goes.

Obviously not every part of his game has translated to this level (yet) but I will say, I'm surprised he hasn't been able to show more putting the ball on the floor. Dribble/drive was definitely a part of his game in HS (albeit not the biggest part) so I thought he'd be a little more of a 3-level threat. Just need to keep giving him time to learn and develop...

Oh heck yes. Loved it. Still early December, CJ, Banks, MM-- find some confidence young fellas!!! 

I agree here, but at the same time also was excited to see Mack straight line his man deep into the paint and just absolutely body him for a bucket a couple of times. That was a welcome surprise.

My 17 year old came back from his high school soccer match when the IU game was at the half.
Him: "Can I watch on Peacock from the start?" and then .. "Oh ****, I just heard the halftime score from the other room. Guess that doesn't tell me who's gonna win. (goes to family room covered with 90 minutes of mud). Can you get me some food before it starts again dad?" 
He saw a helluva second half with me. 
Hey @Chris007; when did yours get that IU email? My kid has 20 applications out, and IU is one of them. Be nice to get that first early one under his belt!

Also--- and you guys brought up the subject of kids--- I watched the game, in the hospital, while I held my not-yet-two-day-old-daugther. She was born Monday morning. Emery Anne 
And, dont worry--- she won't be saving the ball under our own basket in the 2044 Women's March Madness. 
On a serious note--- I have a new found respect for my wife. My god. Tough af.

Very cool moment, We celebrated, then I said you didn't think to tell your mom and me this news anytime in the last 7 hours? He said I forgot till they won. We figured he would get in, but still happy about it. 

OH! It was covered after it happened, but haven't seen it mentioned much in the postgame...
Mack with the ONIONS on the line at the end of the game. He was playing "Rim Is Lava" and won. Try telling me that wasn't a confidence builder.

Eight guys that scored 6 or more points but nobody over 15 points. Total team effort.

Two point game at the half. 6-1 on the season (winning even when we don’t play great). Only loss is to a top 5 team. 1-0 in conference.
6 total games ahead against Minny, Neb, and PSU.
Not sure how the “at some point you’ve got to win games” currently applies to this team.
