I think he can make a run at it......

I get the not respect for IU fb because we haven't proved anything YET...... But come on he should be on list for contenders 247 yards.....2tds yes against ISU but come on Oregon played a crap teams and so did NEB in FAU a not so great FBS school

He would have to sustain an unreal per game average and completely dominate every game. So basically, he has to hope our passing offense goes like last week for the next 11 games. He has the talent to win it, but I don't think it's all that realistic.

Edit: And we would probably need to win 9 games.

I agree about the winning games but I think if he averages 7-8 ypc he should at least get some looks. I just think if he stays healthy he's going to out rush ameer and Melvin

I think he'll outrush a lot of the "best" backs in the nation as well. But I look at Andre Williams last year from BC. He almost broke the NCAA single season rushing record, his team went bowling, and he was clearly one of the top 3-5 best backs in the nation. He was up in the Heisman ranks (I think he went to New York even?), but everyone knew he didn't stand a chance. If Tevin sustains those numbers, I think his story will go a lot like Williams'.
