The Pointe Condos..

Recommended Posts

Going to be in and out of Bloomington several times this summer and was curious if anyone had stayed recently at The Pointe? Pros/Cons, opinions are welcomed on all.

I'm looking at just renting a condo (furnished) for June and July. Seems much cheaper compared to hotel stays. Just wanted to get opinions from anyone who has recently stayed there. Thanks!

Family friend has a place in LaSalle's woods. Beautiful place. The golf course is extremely nice as well, if you're into that. Basketball/tennis courts and pools all over the place. The condo we stay in is pretty big and spacious, but I think they're different in each section. Not sure about prices or anything like that, but we love going there.

Appreciate the follow up. Maybe it's my pessimistic side but I keep trying to figure out if there's a catch I'm missing. I have quoted rates for $750 to $1100 per month for a furnished condo. At their website it says $25 for 18 holes for M-Thursday and $36 for Fri-Sun....$20 or $25 after 4pm each day.

Given that they have restaurant and bar onsite as well. Seems to good to be true.

I thought about trying to live there for school next year, and I was getting about the same prices. I think with the distance from Bloomington, prices won't be that bad for a nice place. The condos themselves aren't really that expensive to actually buy, it's all of the member's fees and everything that goes along with owning one.
