Should this have counted?

Recommended Posts

Last night (1/3), Colorado lost to the 3rd ranked Arizona Wildcats in overtime.  At the end of regulation, Sabatino Chen hit an apparent buzzer-beating three for Colorado.  The Buffs went nuts, only to later find that the basket wouldn't count.  If you pause as the ESPN clock on screen reads 0.2 seconds, the ball is clearly out of the shooter's hands.  However, the clock above the backboard reads 00.0.  Rewind a bit so ESPN clock says 0.3 and the clock on the basket says (or appears to say) 00.1.  It's hard to tell if the ball is out of his hands at this point or not.  The refs say no, but it looks like Colorado might have been robbed of an upset.  Or perhaps, its too close to call and thus no good.  See for yourself..  Thoughts?

Actually hadn't seen that. Tough way to lose a game. Also a tough way for Indiana to not move up in the rankings! I think he got it off. Saw a couple pictures on Twitter showing the clock behind the basket as 0:01. How do you review the replay and still get a call wrong?
